To me, if you accept a bunch of money with the implicit expectation that you're gonna do a bunch of fancy tricks and then you turn up and do exactly that, you're the definition of someone being "technical for the sake of being technical". Well, arguably, that's actually being technical for the sake of getting paid but, since in Gammer's case technical = getting paid, it's the same proposition.
This is ****ing hilarious. Oh no, he did exactly what people expected him to do and got paid for it! He must be less of a human being! It's not like he could actually enjoy doing that or anything.
Honestly, I don't really know how to respond to this because you completely missed the point I was making. Gammer's enjoyment of mixing had absolutely nothing to do with the discussion. I'm sure he has a blast doing sets, it always looks like he does.

think the dream suprise remix is great. Bananaman is getting his mojo back. He's done a really decent track with defekt recently.
Hardcore has never been so accessable but as a result the overall quality of releases has suffered. I has to trawl though a significant amount of shitty tracks.

Actually that's incorrect. I can def say on that one. I've done a collab with both of them recently and they use Bananamans studio and both actually do pretty much share alot on the writing. Bananaman has always been doing music just not hardcore, he just doesn't brag about his accomplishments like a few people . He's a very interesting & exgremely talented guy, he also writes all the lyrics on pretty much every Bananaman & ..... track as well.
I'm happy he's back as he's also one of the most nicest nicest I have met in the scene for a while, he's very honest, upfront and down to earth. A rare personal trait to come across these days.
