IMHO a good MC, who can rhyme effectively, hype up the crowd when needed (and only when needed) and perform good vocal effects can really lift a set above and beyond what a voiceless set can be. A bad MC, on the other hand, who does nothing but yell "SHOW SOME APPRECIAAAAAAAAAAATION" 15 gazillion times in one hour, is a waste of space and isn't worthy of his/her microphone.

Secret Mc is the main room mc for system6 (My local monthy rave) in the main room. Yeah i gotta say he can be pretty annoying sometimes despite the occasional good call.
Im a resident in the new hardcore room there this year so i cant really say too much bad!

If you guys arent keen on mcs at raves you need to get a hold of a new monkey or after dark tape theyre clubs in the NE of England the mcs are top notch

im not sure which is the new skool room but i dont think it will be hard to find.....what sorta stuff you play
