@Klubfiller: Can't believe SoundCloud have deleted my account because of bootlegs and remixes! What a joke!!!!

Looks like there is in fact a silver lining to the new Soundcloud policy!

It's popular to rip on the guy but I thought his bootleg of Sam Smith - Stay With Me was great. Probably one of the remixes that got him in trouble in the first place, however.

Haha loving this! The guy is a talentless ginger gammer wannabe, his original tunes are piss poor and that's why he continues to do bootlegs/ rips,

I actually don't mind Klubfiller. He has some great new artists on his label. (Ganar, DJC, J-Mac)

He put a hardcore bootleg of 'Blame' by Calvin Harris up fairly recently. It was the exact same as the original but with a hardcore bass line and bpm. Sounded absolutely terrible. Some tunes just shouldn't be made hardcore and this was a perfect example. Try telling Klubfiller that though. His own tunes are at best - distinctly average, so he feels he needs to beef his sets up with shitty bootlegs and edits. Says a lot about the current state of hardcore if Klubfiller is one of the main acts we have at the moment. He's ****ing terrible - almost like a modern day DJ Rankin.

He's a modern day DJ Kaos or Vinylgroover you mean, because I believe they do have some bunch of below average bootlegs themselfs, but maybe not as many as klubfiller :P

The DJ rankin reference is more a dig at Klubfillers edits. Where he'll take, for example, a darren styles tune and merge it with a Dougal & gammer tune. Sounds awful and is pretty similar to what DJ Rankin used to do.

Own Groove was surprisingly enjoyable, but i cant really think of any other tracks by him that i remember. my main problem with him is how he uses the same kick and snare samples in every original track he makes (and i am convinced that he uses the same bassline aswell), imo he should delete his samples/presets and try to make something out of more unorthodox sounds

i have but how is that relevant to the topic?
besides, there is a difference between using the same tools to make something nice and using the same tools to make something thats not :^) complaining about a producer making cool tracks somewhat consistently with similar samples is like complaining about milk chocolate because it all tastes the same. the problem is klubfillers chocolate isnt that great and unfortunately it will continue to not be that great unless he tries to change the ingredients
