As I actually have the sets, I can give you feedback.
CD1 is structured more like a well organised Live PA
CD2 is structured more like a studio mix/MC session
CD3 Is structured more like a traditional live set CD pack
CD4 is like a fusion of the above, standing out through virtue of it's quite progressive minimalist vibe
Basically, there should be something for everyone. I'm thrilled with how it's turned out, and very impressed by how much work went into something this..... weird.
We'll watch feedback, and see where we take it from here.
In less thrilling news, the delivery turned up at 5:30 this evening so precisely 0 albums went out today. Expect UK orders to arrive on Thursday.

The latest info is that we fully intend to attach digital rights to the mixes, with and without MCs, to accounts towards the end of the year.
That said, it'll be more like an Xmas present than something to give thanks for.......

My order is 'archived' according to the HU website whereas my other orders appear as 'paid'. I hope there's no beef.
This demonstrates our temporary, very crass, method of us trying to sort orders by glance, until account linking and notes are available to us on the back end.
Archived will change to paid, very soon. Why not "shipped" you ask? I've used that to indicate there's a note on the order, somewhere.

Nope - I was just hoping there were no issues with payment as I made it back in March, which would've been harder to trace if there were, indeed, any issues.
In terms of the album itself, I'm really looking forward to it. It feels like ages since we've had a HU album, given the frequency of the releases at the turn of the year.
I was thinking, though, that the people who made it to the event reported power cuts and what not on the night. Did these power cuts affect the album in any way? How did the sets get recorded seamlessly if this was the case?

As with others, I'm totally put off buying this album because of the MC's.
HU promises to evolve the hardcore scene, this is only a step backwards I feel.
This isn't 1994 where nothing beat the sound of an MC at Helter Skelter. It's 2014 and the MC scene belongs nowhere near hardcore.
I applaud HU for trying something different but there's a reason why most CD's don't feature MC's along with the DJ's... it completely ruins the music.

It is about finding a middle ground.
Which, by and large, we have IMO. Early feedback from the few that have it is off the chart, and I don't tend to put my neck on the block with grandoise claims that easily.
It's one of the best projects we've ever done.
Digital rights will eventually be assigned to people who bought the CD (of which there 'aint many left, fact fans) including a version without the MCs. The idea is to have this sorted before Xmas.
Of all the CDs, CD3 will be the one that does nothing to convince the pessimists as it is almost exactly like a normal live set. The others, basically, aren't.
(CD2 is, to all intents and purposes, like a studio mix. With a well integrated, sparesly employed, rapper)
I actually struggle to listen to the version of "Never Let Go" "without" Reese in, tbh. Heh.

I was undecided whether or not to purchase the album. Reading this made me go for it. Listening to the previews it sounds like a cool album with the added sounds of the event, gives it a different feel from just another mix.
With the added possibility of getting these mixes just with the music, sold.

Pretty sure I bought my copy when I wasn't logged into my account, hope it doesn't affect my chances of free stuff later ;-)
BTW, do we get emails confirming dispatch?
