In a way hardcore has changed my life. It has made me realise that what you want is out there but you must search for it and also made me realise that you don't have to follow anything 'popular' to enjoy it as at the time I was just starting High School, you know what it's like being around that age - "so and so wears nike trainers so they're cool!" and other such immature crap.
I First got into it around 95 at the age of 11 when a friend came back from germany with a pretty hard and fast techno tape! a few days after his older brother handed me a tape and said "this is one of the british DJs and is the closest you'll get to that german stuff". It was a Hixxy tape but I cant remember it being recorded at a rave as there was no MC, all I can remember was the first three tracks being "hold me now", "Like a Dream" and "Bust the new Jam". Prior to hearing this I would listen to chart stuff like "2 Unlimited" and longed for similar music to be faster!

the biggest way hardcore has changed my life, is it has made me broke by coming out with too many good records that i must buy!

Hardcore has changed my life foreva. Back in 1992/93 one of my mates went to brizzy and bought back a heap of US and ruffneck. At that stage i was into hiphop(Uggh) as soon as i heard the gabba cd out went the ****ed up hiphop and in come the hardcore. Since then i have enjoyed the hardcore movement and everything thats hardcore.

i love hardcore and i find out about it mostly on the net. can u imagine wot a lot of us wud do without the net to find out about new songs and events?

I'm sure the internet has helped a lot of people get into hardcore who
otherwise wouldn't have heard of such a thing.
A lot of people buy all their hardcore off the net as well.It has definately
helped the scene because its not that easy to find a shop that sells hhc vinyl.

I found this on a bulletin board like this one and decided to try it.
