I think ps2,gc and the xbox are all good consoles in their own way.
Just that people have different tastes I reckon.
Though I do think the gamecube has a lot of childish games on.
I think the ps2 and xbox appeal to a slightly wider audience.
I like the ps2 the best because it has games like Gt3,vice city,the getaway..etc.
Though the overall gaming quality is better on gc and xbox,a lot more thought
goes into games for the latter consoles than for ps2 games.
There are a lot of bum games for ps2 that are just thrown together!
Each to their own I suppose.

All 3 Consoles are good in there own resepcts xbox has halo beast of a game but thats it n you need reinforced floors to have it in your room n hands like spades to play it, ps2 got a huge range of games n a poxy dvd player finally the gc which has super monkey ball the greatest game of all time.Broke more control pads playin that game.Monkeys rock

What are all your thoughts on the Contollers.....I personally would prefer a keyboard & mouse anyday of the week..however I can't get on at all with the X-box controller I think it's awful....The PS2 is alright nice simple design....but I find the GC has without a doubt the best controller....it fits perfectly in your hands and the buttons are well designed.

I used to really like the contoller back in the day of the ps1.. but not it just seems too small, and short on any kind of trigger buttons. The gamecube controller, hmm I'm not into it, it seems to small + fiddly and random button placement. As you have prolly guessed I rather like both the xbox controller (the normal and s controllers) For some people perhaps it is too big, but it's fine for me.
Xbox controller>ps2>GC (IMO ;)

I love the ps2 controller or the ps1 analog controller.
They just seem to be the right weight and they fit your hands perfect.
They xbox is too big and un-comfortable,and the gamecube controller
seeems like it has just been cobbled together and that no thought has
gone into it.
Thats just my opinion anyway.Everyone has different tastes.

Nintendo... been around for 100 years! (no shit either).. they have been making games for over 100 years... They started with card games.
Xbox = PC
PlayStation = The beta CD version of the Super Famicon (no shit either)
PlayStation 2 = The hardest piece of hardware EVER to program on, with the crapest development libs you have EVER seen (believe me). Why do you think Sony is using IBM to develop the Playstation 3 (the gamecube is already using IBM chips).
Dreamcast = Hmmm not to shabby
Gameboy Advance = Ooooo baby.

Nah I understand man - I mean if you like nintendo's style, and grew up with it, then fine - thats cool. I didn't, and have never liked nintendo really.
The ps1 was a classic, wipeout *sold* that thing to me, and I still dig it out of my crap pile sometimes to play on it.
ps2, shit to program for, and sold on the merits of the ps1, more of the god damn same.
I'm not gonna bash the gamecube, I can see the market it goes for and it does a good job of it, but I'm not that market. For this very reason I belive they can both survive no problem.

The PS-controllers works well, but why oh why can't anyone make o control which don't mess your hands up after a few hours of button pressing?
