Ok dont get me wrong its a good idea and all but, you speak sooo highly of the quality of this apparel. Doesnt it sound like a better idea to focus all your energies into cutting a good quality record??? The tunes are great, but the quality of the vinyl is the worst I have ever seen. Sooooo many pops, and the damn records look like a ufo. I mean this is the only label I have seen that the record can actually cut you. Perhaps you should shave the edges better so people wont get hurt trying to play your records. (Yes I have been cut by the record) Every single record I have looked at is in no way good quality. Like mentioed above ALOT of pops, some skips (yes even with good needles, not no stanton garbage) and MAJOR warpage. Ohh yeah dont forget the sharp edges of the record OUCH :( I dunno it just makes more sence to focus on the product at hand, the record. Perhaps you should switch pressing companies???

Welcome to the boards, mate.
I haven't had any problems with mine either. Possible shipping damage?

I dont know then guys, cause EVERY track from master wax that I have seen is atleast warped to hell. possible shipping damage. But you guys cant tell me you dont hear those pops in till the day (blizzard mix). They are sooo freaking annoying.

I have switched pressing companies three times, the one I am using now has no problems. The only reason I switched was they took too damn long to press anything.
About the pops, cutting and warping, I have not heard about this, I heard from one or two other people about some pops on MWX001 but it was a really small amount so I did not think there is a problem. I don't think the problems you are talking about are MasterWax problems, some vinyl I have has cut me as well, I'm sorry to hear one of my releases cut you.
Warping, that is defiantly shipping.

chill out bear lol. quality of the actual vinyl rarely has anything to do with the label, and plus ALL of my master wax records (i have all 3) are perfectly fine with no pops. i know molly's complained about the records too, so maybe you guys just happened to pick up a bad batch?

The quality of my MWX001 wasn't the best, but MWX002 and 003 were fine for me. I got one from the early batches (from the first record released by the label), so I half expected there to be something, but its certainly playable, and I have had no skipping whatsoever, just a few pops and cracks.

Regarding the quality of MWX 001, Silver kindly sent me a few copies when it was first released, I assume they were from the first pressing, and although I'm really no vinyl expert, they seemed OK. However, if it's any consolation at all, then 'Til The Day WILL be available on CD at some stage, so if you want a perfect digital clone it will be around soon. (The moonshine version wasnt so good either, but this'll be perfect , promise)
Not sure if it'll be on a single or just the album at this stage but I will make sure it surfaces.
I've also remastered the new version personally, so it's a bit crispier and less "crunched", I know someone mentioned that on here ages ago, and it's now been fixed.

Heyaz,
Ive had no problem with the vinyl myself. Except maybe at my shop what I thought was odd every copy of Konomama was scratched in same exact place on side two. The odd thing was that this was from two seperate shipments to the store. I ended up by two copies of it because the first one I had skipped at that part when it hit the scratch. Either way I am really happy with the product.

both my masterwax records are a bit dodgy :(
till the day sounds .. just weak compared to my other records (I dnt have the technical terms really) the b side has a ickle dent in the record which makes it pop a lot :( - this looks like it happend at pressing.
konomama has same thing on the b.. makes me cry :(

It probaly was that I got it out of a "bad batch" I only have 001, but that will all change once i find copies that arent so warped. About the sound quality issues, nick cleared that up with me. It was all probaly just my luck.

My MWX001 doesnt crackle or pop but the edge of the record is somewhat shredded and I can peel off stringy bits of plastic if I so desired :(
Also I found the actual vinyl to be overly thin, I've never had such a thin record before...
Does the job fine though I guess ;p
