Following the success of the Xmas Hardcore CD covermount Mixmag have draughted in Brisk for a monthly round up of all things Hardcore by giving him his own article. Starting from the April edition expect to find regular reports on the latest available releases alongside upfront industry news and reviews.
We're sure you'll agree this is great news for the scene as Hardcore now has a voice in the mainstream dance music press.
For those of you who don't go on USH.
I think this is great news and what we were striving for from Mixmags coverage:)

About time!!
Still Viv does deserve a big respect for this,
he is also considering an article on vocal scratching,
Which could be cool if done from the right new angle

glad we've done something good. It's just 1/2 a page an issue in the reviews section, but it's a start.
10 reviews and a bit of news. Obviously it's not comprehensive, but I'll see what reaction is to this and decide what to do again in a few months

That's brilliant news. For what seems like years i've been telling everybody that would listen (and some that wouldn't!) that Hardcore is on the up again.
So, maybe all those ill informed, ignorant people who don't understand what we're all about will take notice now.
Saying that, it would mean some of the Mixmag, Dj, Muzik etc. readers pulling themselves from up their own arses!!
We'll have to wait and see - lets just hope that liking Hardcore music doesn't become the latest dance music 'fashion'
