Will you like hardcore less if it is in the Woolworths top 20? What will happen when it gets into the top 10?
I for one am not at all bothered whether Hardcore is popular or not. Sure, it may make picking out the good tunes from the poor ones a bit harder as more and more producers jump on the bandwagon, but is that such a terrible thing?

Personally i think hardcore is never going to be mainstream, a genre that doesnt have CD albums or singles, theres no chance.
if one compilation makes to the charts, it doesnt mean anything.
exept that now i may know the reason why i dont have my copy yet,
maby it has been out of stock...
oh, and i think its a good thing...

i don't like the idea of it going commercial and the style of the tunes changing, though, if the standard of the full flowing tunes doesn't show a change and more and more people start listening to hardcore.. IT CANT BE BAD!!! Am all for it!!
HARDCORE FOREVER
if video games affected us children, then we would all be running around in dark rooms, munching magical pills and dancing to repetitive music!

It will be fine, Hardcore deserves a bit a popularity....Let it have it's moment of glory. It will be fine believe me .
current Hardcore tunes will never reach the charts in there original form in the UK, so I think Hardcore will never go commercial....it's just too hard in my oppinion.

Well said. And we'll look all smart and uber-l33t when all the new kids come in begging to learn about hardcore's glorious history. :)
