The Pretty Green Eyes (Hixxy, Styles & Breeze Remix) on Hixxys CD in Bonkers X is so good, does anyone know if its going to be released? If so will it be on UK Dance like the Original, (or maybe UK Dance Extreme)? My friend has been bugging me to get that song so I promised her Id ask.

Well i didnt like the tune to start with but its growing on me now. It will probably be out on raver baby in the next couple of months or so. Or if they keep going with theire releases like they have been you could have to wait a year or so

No idea if the Hixxy, Styles & Breeze mix will actually be released or not, but if it is, it will probably be on All Around The World www.aatw.com The single is out some time this month, so best bet is to check HMV or whatever (I think theres 2 CDs for the single)

LOL so true.
I will just have to constantly bug the record store and get him to search for it for me. But at least now I have some sort of place to start.

As a remix, I really love this song. The original tromps all over it but they are well different enough so I can appreciate them both. Whenever it does make it to vinyl, IT WILL BE CAINED!

CD single???? Ru sure its being released as CD single??!!!!! Wow if thats true.. but I somehow doubt it. And ye I HATED it at 1st but after Hardcore Heaven (especailly Breeze's set... what a feckin rush!!!) I really like it... PGE was always my fave song anyway (1st vinyl I had... stole it off my ex's best mate lol) and I'm learnin to lurve the new one... :-)

LOL Dave, must admit I'm with you on this one. The vocals are so emotionless compared to Junior's.
Kate: Pretty Green Eyes has been covered as a dance track by Ultrabeat, and it is this track that Hixxy et al. have remixed. The Ultrabeat single is being released sometime this month on AATW.... I'm just not sure if the hardcore mix will be on either of the singles.
The only mixes I know are definitely on the single are Scott Brown (Don't get too excited, its probably a trance mix), N-Trance, FNP and CJ Stone "amongst others". Hopefully Hixxy is one of the others.

Ultrabeat, is 2 lads from liverpool.....One of which I really don't get along with.

Just so you all know, Pretty Green Eyes is available on All Around The World and has been for the past month an a half I think. It's in high demand here around liverpool. Ultrabeat did a half decent job with the remix. I'll give them that!

Its interesting to have so many opinions, that other website said 66% of people loved it, but I hear so much negativity towards the song. Heres what is seems to me.
Most people loved the original, so this mix is "blasphemous". I dont really even see it as the same song because they are so drastically different. That happens a lot with songs that get the remix treatment nowadays. Im relistening to the song right now just to make sure that I wasnt hallucinating when I heard it first. It sounds like just another basic newer style happycore song, BUT since it does somewhat reference the original, people would totally get into it (here in so cal where cheese still reigns). I still like it, its not that bad at all, just maybe not as good as I thought in retrospect. It will probably be one of those songs Ill get to make my friend happy but only play it at house parties shes throwing.
