The whole night was amazing, you know it's a big deal when you have DJ's turning up that aren't even on the lineup. Saw Slipmatt, D-Lyte (chatted his ear off about Legitimate and fabricated some kind of issue which I have since forgotten). Asked Force why Styles hasn't shared the secret of eternal youth with him. Chewed Ham's ear off for a bit too. Learned from Luna-C that Poosie = Future Primitive (news to me) and had a bloody good stomp. A properly cracking event.
Saw CDJay and I'm pretty sure he told me some exciting stuff, I have the feeling that I learned something new but I cannot remember for the life of me what any of it was :D
Probably exciting times ahead :D

Where was the venue? Sounds like you had fun. Did Ham say anything about the album?
What sort of set did Slipmatt play?

Slipmatt wasn't playing a set, just turned up for the good times :D
I'm pretty sure Ham said the album would be done in 2 or 3 months but I was super wrecked when I was talking to him so take that with a pinch of salt.
Venue was in Dalston, London. It was basically a bar with two rooms, one room was like the entrance with a bar and merch stall (picked up a KF t-shirt) and the other was much larger as a dance floor with the decks etc.

I should have been there, fucking gutted I wasn't. It's both my daughters birthdays this weekend so my money was spent on that, but I was sure to check all the videos this morning.
The fact that this music is still drawing people in is the best thing in the world though. Long live Kniteforce and breakbeat hardcore!

Slipmatt told me today he won't be going out with me again for a while. I assume this means I am tremendous fun and must be portioned out!
I *may* have attempted to pack a nights worth of drinking into less than half the time.
I definitely bleated on at Force about the ever threatened F&S album, with seeming success. (Unless I undid my good work later in the evening, should probably check.)
Amazing crowd, amazing music, wish I'd been there longer and wish I'd dragged a bunch of people who I know would have loved it as much as I did.
Also secured two exciting things, only one of which was initially planned, for a project later in the year. I was there working; couldn't you tell?

Should have made the effort. I've not had my raving hat on for a while. Just two in thirteen months.
Glad those that went had an outrageous time.

CDJay could be found at multiple times brandishing a copy of Hardcore Heaven and opening it at people like it was a 3D access all areas pass :D
I've just bought this from Luna-C - https://kniteforce.bandcamp.com/merch/kfcd-05-25th-year-we-still-here Which is his set from the night, he says he sold a few at the event so it must be pre-recorded but it contains (I think) one track from every KF release, which I didn't realise at the time - it's a fiver!

You're right on both counts. It's brilliant seeing the buzz about it all over facebook for days afterwards too... awesome
