Right ive decided my night will be at one of londons premier venues the fridge in brixton and im gettina a bit of stick about saying im living in a dreamworld etc etc but imo i wanna do it etc etc but some of their truths are starting to hit home.
since 1999 ive been on special quest
i set out to do a job and to be the best
since picking up the mic i gotta rip it up
u can jump on the mic but theres no1 like the jutt

Go for it mate, if you believe in yourself 100% then I'm sure you can work round any obstacles that come your way.
By means of inspiration: We organised a night at the Palace nightclub in Blackpool (back when it was actually an ok place to go hehehe) with only £200 cash to start off with.... that had to cover whatever the DJs/bands wanted up-front, along with promotion, not to mention the venue itself!!! (they originally wanted £2k) We did it, and it was a proper success!! Even managed to donate £1000 to charity after we had settled all the outstanding balances.
So good luck mate, and I hope it is a blinding success!

cheers m8, i appreicate the advice im not sure about taking the gamble as this can go wrong and ya get angry people and djs etc etc if it ****s up hehe

just don't tell anyone anything until it's 100% confirmed. then people can't get dissapointed and when you come out with all the details everyone's like SHIT! and the hype and everything builds up from there. if you want to get the venue, don't tell people about it, then you won't look "scaled down" when you do get it.
