Who decides what to play on the website radio?
I am only curious because i just want to know can people vote for what
albums can be played. (If that makes sense) lol
e.g I would really like to listen to The Sound Assasins Hyperspeed again
But never know if it is being played or when it is being played.
Fair comment yes/no????????????

I decide :)
We only can play what we have and we can only do what technology allows us to do, for a dynamic playlist we would have to do a lot of programming. This one would be far down out list unless there is already some sort of plugin built.

Ever thought about making a weekly gabberprogram?
I keep hearing people around here say they want a gabber-radiostation, that way you would be able to take care of their need aswel (not in the kinky way, that is ). It's just an idea.
About the sellection, why don't you make some kinda competition where, once a week, you pick one playlist out of every one that was sent in and the winner get's his playlist (or part of it) on the air.
A tv-station here has the same sort of formula with a top-3 of pop song of the moment.

By american internet broadcasting law (where our servers are located) we are not allowed to display the upcoming tracks nor pre publish the tracklist we are about to play. We can only show you what is currently playing and what has played.
The play list also has to be longer than 3 hours... but we are over 100 hours so that aint a problem :)

My word, those are some of the stupidest laws I have ever heard. Did some bunch of clowns just sit down and think or a bunch of random rules just to piss people off?
I'm *so* glad none of that wank applies here.

No there r not w*nk rules
if the radio thingy told people what albums were going to play then it would be easy for people to copy them.

Regular radio has a whole different set of crappy rules so don't worry...
About the gabba program yeah no problem just sort it out.

Well, I think that radio rules are interesting.
On one hand, we have the small stations that are starting up and cannot really afford to pay royalties everytime a track is played.
I'm not saying that the artists don't deserve it, but small radio stations probably couldn't afford it.
On the other hand, we have the rich and stupid powerful....just rich people that can afford to pay for the liscencing, but don't play good music....
Its a sticky situation.

^^^ Errrr you saying something about our station cause we pay? :)
HappyHardcore.com Radio started July 28th 1999 broadcasting when there were no rules and built up a listenership so when we had to pay we could just afford it... and I say just afford it... I would not say we were the first to broadcast hardcore but we are the longest running station.
There are other ways to broadcast, live365.com (where we started) or start a web site and ask for donations or something maybe you could start a station.
What is interesting about this site is that I never ONCE spammed any other message board about this web site, never once! and became the number one site and hardcore radio station in the world because we worked hard :)
