I have a gemini 626i mixer, only had it about 4-5 months and now when im mixing the right deck will play (at a low volume) even when the fader is to the left. the mixer its self has a removable fader so under a mates advice i took it out & tryd to clean it. to be honest it still looks brand new, no dust in or around the fader. why is the fader still makin the connection? is there anything i can do? if not any1 got a fader 4 a 626i (that works) they wana flog?
Cheers,
MRC

Your mate may have given you bad advice there mate. If the mixer is only 4-5 months old it should be still covered by the 12 month guarantee...... which may have been voided by removing the fader!!! Might be worth contacting either Gemini or the shop you purchased it from all the same though.

Sometimes if I don't mix for awhile, my crossfader gets icky (like in Show 2 of mine). It sometimes leaks in. But othertimes, it doesn't..

No i had the same problem mate i can assure you that it is due to the quality ( or not ) of the cheaper gemini faders. Basically its worn and there ent nothing you can do but get a new fader. I would reccomend if your gonna stick with gemini ( whic i wouldnt coz they are poor ) then get a pro glide fader. Cost a bit more but it might last longer than 6 months :)
Allso you will find that the faders are not covered by te warranty.

AFAIK all Gemini equipment comes with a 3 year warranty, but it's possible it doesn't cover the fader. Worth checking out though if you still have the papers
