I wanna make mixes, dont have money to buy decks and i dont dream about coming a dj, so i think this digital thing could be for me... But i dont want a drag/drop program, wanna do the "mixing" myself...
About that Acid 4, i found 2 with that name:
Sonic Foundry ACID Pro 4.0 Price was $200!!!! Too high, i could get like 10 cd's with that money...
Screenblast ACID 4.0 I'm not sure if this is a mixing tool, but it supports NetMD, so if it is, it would be perfect for me... Anybody have that program? or know what its like?

i'd have said atomixmp3 as well. its not brilliant but mixing's just a button click away. i don't agree with that sort of mixing but each to their own

OK, now i know better what i want,
I want to mix tunes, eg add vocals to tune A from tune B,
changing bpm, i like pitched up music :)
and mixing tracks together, for example the same way you add samples in
e-jay. I would use e-jay, but i cant change the tunes bpm with it...
and i need to be able to split tracks with it, although its not essential...
Coz i can do it with my MD...

No not a bootleg (at least the way i understand the word), i just wanna kind of "play" with the tunes, make a megamix... i think?
I want to add vocals to an instrumental track, jump from 140bpm tune to 220bpm tune etc, so its not really a regular mix. I want to take the best parts from tunes and make a mix, witch i can listen when i'm at school or going to school...
I had a demo of that acid pro, and i couldnt change the bpm, dont know why?
If i remember right the demo only had a recording limit?

I'm bumping this topic, because in the past 5 years (damn it sure doesnt feel that long) i still havent got the mixing program :P My english has gotten better so i can better explane what i need, and the products have probably gotten better.
Back then i bought Mixcraft so i can record vinyls and time compress songs, was really cheap and good for those.
Anyway i need a mixing program, that lets me mix the songs using sliders or similar, but so that i can use all the time i want to perfect the mix, rather then mix "in real time". For example, i mix 2 tunes together, i want to be able to come back later and tweak the mixing a little bit etc. So i'm not searching for something i can "DJ" with, but rather make my own mixes. Same result but diffrent approach to get there.

You can never really go back and adjust what you have done because all the adjustments will be done in real time. The only way you can get around this is to make the songs the exact same bpm, then line them up in a wav editor where you want them to be. I would say the simplest way of doing this is to get some djing software that tells you the exact bpm of the song, then alter it (the bpm) with the same software and record the song back into an audio file, then import that file into a wave editor. Then do the same thing with all the songs so you don't need to make any real time adjustments, you only need to place them where you want them to be mixed together.

Thanks for the help, thats exactly what i'm trying to do. i can use that Mixcraft program as a wav editor. But what program will tell me the exact BPM and let me change it?

theres a program called mixmeister which does exactly what you want theres a cheaper version called studio or the more epensive one is called fusion......cheapest is around 100 quid i think.....ive used it and have to say its good gives you everything you need and is basically drag n drop......but obviously you can still make all the adjustments you need aswell like eq,sliding, fading etc
personally i use ableton live 7 with a midi mixer but thats not what your after is it :)
http://www.mixmeister.com/products_mmstu7.html hope that helps
