http://www.beats24-7.com/index1.html So far they have tracks from: Asylum, SMD, Impact, Awesome, Silk Cuts, Universal, Vital Elements, Pure Dance, VW, Ravers Choice, JAL, JAL Premium, XY2, Stompin Choonz, Go Mental, Go Mental Gold, Infinity, Happy Hardcash, United Dance, Corrosive, Benz and a few more. Soon to be added are: Essential Platinum, GBT, RSR, some production house & Ellis Dee stuff as well as a few from the labels I listed that aren't up yet. Not all tracks from each label are there, but most are. I've ordered 175 so far In case you have trouble working out the site, if u want to browse all, select "tracks" from the search toolbar on the frontpage, and press "search" ( don't enter any text ). Alternatively if u want to search for a specific label or artist; type "Vibes" for Vibes related tracks or "Vital" for Vital Elements. CDJay "Are Eph You?"

Yes it's definately for real, and entirely legit.
It's done by the same company as the "battle of the DJs" release that came out yesterday.

Just one question, is it a "professional" CD or a CD-R?

"Quosh Records has been doing this with there stuff for ages"
yes, but that's just 1 label doing their own and affiliated stuff.
This is slightly more comprehensive.
No whispering, of course they aren't professionally replicated CDs, as they are custom. As a "professional" CD would cost u at least £700ish, I'm guessing u wouldn't want to pay that for a single CD? hehe ;)

That dosn't matter though, technically they are the same, sound quality wise (correct me if i'm wrong) :)

Well, it's quite complicated.
For a start a commercial CD is likely to be mastered, so that's a big plus.
Ignoring that tho, it'll have a lot to do with how you write the CDR or how the CD was replicated.
If the CDR was written on good media, at an optimal speed, using a low-jitter writer ( especially something like Yamaha's AMQR ) then the CDR could in fact be superior to some commercially replicated CDs.
If however the commercial CD was replicated from something like Exabyte DDP then the commercial CD is likely to be better.
Added to which some CD players have trouble w/ CDR media.
As I said, it's complicated hehe.

They say that pro CD last about 80 years (well at least 21 years ;)), CD-R about 10 years maby less, nobody really knows... and CD-R is more sensitive to scratches, sunlight etc... and pro CD looks better...
