In switzerland, if you hear someone speak of hardcore, you know he means this "bum bum bum bum" music ;) the "tekno" hardcore, not the punk one...
But I don't like hardcore, it's a little bit boring in my opinion. I prefer Happy Hardcore

I think you use the same genre names that they use in netherlands, so that what you call "Happy Hardcore" they call just "Hardcore" in UK these days...
