Just to get the scene buzzing a bit again?
I'd be happy to try and co-ordinate it but would need willing participants, plus to figure out a structure and even prizes to the winners.
Personally i'd like to exclude anything Stonebank sounding.... but.... I realise that isn't viable, so I'd say something not Stonebank sounding, but if people decide to do it in that style then fine.
There's a few original vocals I have which could be put to use I guess. Feedback and thoughts wpuld be ideal

Neat idea. If I can find the time, I'd sure be intrested as well. I tend to struggle with finding ways to get myself motivated to produce more tracks. This could really do the trick ;)

So far ive had a word with a few peeps including M@rtin J. martin said about "more than strangers" vox.
That was my version ages ago. If this was selected, anyone good at properly tuning vocals?
Art, anyone good at even basic art to get something together?
Prizes? I'm happy to put some stuff up as prizes. I've got signed Stompy and also Breeze and Styles stuff plus picture vinyl's of several releases (albeit all covered in dust in the loft).

Seems in tune enough for me. What other options do we have for vocals, if I may ask?

Well I've got a lot people have sent me over the years and going down the list to try and contact them for approval.
The thing is, for example, "Virtue and slammer - don't go" vox. I could guess and say virtue would be fine with it but there's no way to contact him anymore. If I went ahead with it on the assumption he would say yes, then it comes into legalities and copyright due to gammer doing a remix that was released and who now holds the rights to them.
I don't think in core that matters though? Not sure though really as I know about copyright laws but copyright laws in core would be handled differently where at best nobody cares, at worst the owner of the vocal rights might frown and say "naughty you"

Well, I've messaged supposed supporters of the scene that want to help and stuff albeit with no reply (As expected, won't be buying stuff they put out there again though).
So instead of a full blown remix comp, I've decided to stick my little finger on the line with this and say.....
"Virtue and Slammer - Don't go" full studio vocals :D
*INBOX ME FOR VOCAL LINK SO I CAN KEEP TRACK OF WHO HAS IT AND WILL KNOW WHO'S BEEN BAD IF IT'S FULLY LEAKED*
It must be kept internal lads and lasses. No spreading the vox outside the forum..... Or else, there will be trouble and I will be forced to cry in the corner and post up hard house stuff all day like Smoogie.
Examples:
Impact and Resist remix:
D:Code remix:
Prizes are unknown as of yet but I'm sure there will be some epic remixes done.

Sadly not. But I do have a full version master on an old HD at other place which I will try and dig up and get sent across.

Well I've only messaged people here with zilch back at all. I've been away for a while and come back to an empty inbox which is fine. It's more of an overall reflection of the scene being so dead at the moment, which is all good to have a more for fun contest with those vocals
