Just discovered something that may interest some of you. pitching down this edition of CLXH I really noticed how much they are trying to emulate hands up/commercial trance/donk. Seriously if Hands up was released in this style at 142 BPM I would be so happy.
If you have the facilities to, pitch down Kirsten Joy - Only Your Love (chris Unknown and Re-con mix) it sounds amazing at that BPM IMO!

The rest were either terrible (Stairway To Heaven, Kidz and Passenger being the worst) or completely average and forgetable for me.
Disc 2 - Breeze
First of all cringe at the intro, kind of sets the tone for the mix tbh.
10. Move For Me (Dougal & Gammer Remix)- Kaskade v Deadmau5 (actually a brilliant tune)
16. Break It - Dougal & Gammer (liking all the bitcrushed sounds in this tunes a bit boring)
17. Love To The Stars - Breeze v UFO & Lost Witness
19. Reach Out - Breeze v Unique
20. Heartbeatz (Specialist Sound Remix) - Styles & Breeze Feat Karen Danzig (the "Dubstep" part did make me giggle though)
Such a weak CD. The most cheesy ridiculous affair of the comp. Few too many questionable chart remixes and just generally shit and boring tunes and soooo many triplets. Made for a very tiring listen.
Disc 3 - Hixxy (BONUS CD)
2. Surrender (Clubland Mix) - Al Storm ft Amy
6. Without Doubt - Re-Con
11. Digital Lover (Re-Con remix) - Sy & Unknown
14. Clubwalker - JB-C
16. Re-loaded - Hixxy & Technikore
18. Make you Love Me (Squad-E Remix) - D-Code (if this wasn't ****ing triplets it would be so good)
Decent cd from Hixxy for once. Some of his own tunes were pretty pants but the cd was a ok listen.
It does seem, with the possible exception of Breeze's cd, AATW are moving away from the usual cheese they're famous for but like i said this cd just isn't consistent enough in terms of quality. If i'd have bought it i'd have felt ripped off :p

Listening to the clips I deffo think they've taken a step in the right direction. Will be buying it, first I've purchased since no 2.

all in all despite the 3 track mix up malarky i rekon its not a bad album deffo the best mix ive herd from hixxy since his proper bonkers days few tunes they could of done without but then again theres always gonna be tracks on cds that some folk wont like lol end of the day i like it lol

Some iffy tracks I've heard but hey... most CD's have them
Very excited for Christmas day now. Between Cubase 5, CXH6, and HU 1... I may just soil myself in excitement.

How ridiculous! Could that be a manufacture error? and why is it also on the box? Lol, this is silly, the only thing this reminds me of is that track on AATW BOnkers Unknown CD, Welcome To The Trip, that just cuts in the middle to skip to the next one without any mixing, and completely off cue. That sounded lie a complete manufacture ****-up as well.
The music itself is not the issue here, but AATW have to step up their game because this isn't funny lol. well, ok it's hilarious, but also very frustrating for anybody who buys the album, to literally receive a defect product.

They are pretty bad on the spelling front too. Digitech media, however, managed to spell their own company name wrong on CXH5 i think. That was... a Woopsie.

thers no muck up mate, a few online retailers seemed to have got confused with Clubland 16 http://www.aatw.com/albums.php?tracklist=205076#205076 these tracks were never meant to be on x-treme they are the last 3 tracks from cd2 on clubland 16.
anyhow, im quite impressed with this cd. number 5 was so shit.
Darren Styles disk was quite good, track wise anyway. the mixing was really boring, poor in places.I liked alot of the songs, in particular:

evrytime i hear yor name (seems to be a slightly different to the version on gammers guest mix for ng podcast, different vocalist im sure...)

Mark Breeze disk wasnt bad either, apart from the intro, which is probably the worst hardcore intro ive ever heard. i think he was trying to copy an intro for a dj hype cd a few years back, might have been dnb essentials. Good tracks :

Bad tracks:
use somebody (although not as bad as i anticipated)
party vibe (this is probably the worst song on the whole album, the lyrics are so shit. its embarasing)
evrywhere (theyve tried to remix it in a way so it doesnt sound so much like squad-e's remix, which i like, but clearly that wasnt possible without making it sound shit)
stamp on the ground
Hixxy mix was probably the best for me, which is strange because the last few mixes hes put out ( CXH4 CXH5 and bonkers ) have ****ing awful. especialy bonkers. but this was a step in the right direction, and it had a lot more track to track transition than the other two disks. the worst part was the ending. it sounds like he accidently lent on his deck and thought "shit il have to finnish now cos i just ****ed up big time, i'l just keep touching the pad and rocking it then power off" dissapointing end to a good mix!
