No beef with Gammer at all. Guy's a great DJ and producer, if he did more stuff like Ambient Angels and less of this boing nonesense he'd be one of my favourite producers, i don't actually see how you got that i do have a problem with Gammer. The amount of arse licking that goes on on here i could do without though. All i was saying is that "it goes oof in a club" is hardly a measure of a decent tune.

Just from my personal observations it seems like the majority of the haters on these boards tend to be the ones that never/rarely get their groove on the dancefloor. I like that the number of tracks per CD was boosted a bit, maybe we can expect some faster tighter mixing? Also as this series goes on I see that the CDs are less concentrated to ONLY styles, Breeze or Hixxy tracks. Yes they still each dominate their own mix but they seem a bit more varied nevertheless. I just don't understand the negativity that can arise when most haven't even heard the majority of the tracks presented on a new release.
Didn't miss a single one of the last CXHs and I'm not missing this one. =)
well said mate. i was just thinkin about writing something along those lines. im always getting the impression that most of the haters on here probably dont go raving whatsoever (meathead, smoogie, acidfluxxbass etc). i very rarely hear a comment from one of these guys and agree. BRING ON CXH6... i cant wait for it to come out. tracklist looks very exciting :)
I don't. What difference does that make? I don't go listening to music thumping my ears at ridiculous volumes masking just how shit it is opting instead to listen to it at home on a good system at a decent level and really appreciate it, so for that i don't know a good tune when i hear one? Behave.

my opinion is based on what I've heard from CXH cd's, and the tracks I've already heard from this Album. You need not agree with me. My opinion is criticial, and I only look for faults in CAATW's projects because of the faults that I and so many other people have heard with the previous ones. This album, from what I've heard, is not so dissimilar to its predecessors, and thus the series is not my desire.
Every so often I go to an event, or so-called 'rave'. Not many, none so major, but I've danced on a dance floor to every beat played. I've never so much cared for what was played. I've even enjoyed normal Clubland events at Yarmouth.
Ehh, I expect pro-commercialists to throw slander at myself for my negative opinions. Nonetheless, my opinions stand.

It may not be the most important dimension, but it is one that is forgotten a bit too often. So um yay new Clubland? =D And someone get Doogz and Gamz on a CD as well! I missed not having a True Hardcore this year ;_;

99.9% of the arse licking done on hhc.com/forums goes towards the Hardcore Underground team. The other .01% goes straight to other smaller underground projects. There is barely any respect for anything else on here, let alone arse licking!
That being said, it seems to me like hating on HTID,CXH and other commercially successful projects has become the new way to arse-lick the underground artists! As if it would show them how dedicated you are to their work, by disregarding anything else... I hope I'm imagining this, because it would be really sad otherwise.

I think all hardcore music is good... all of it. Just because something says "underground" doesn't make it better. I love most tunes. My two favorite producers right now are Darwin & Styles. Why can't I just enjoy both sides of the spectrum?
No offense to HU4 but look at the artists... that's not "underground" anymore. All the gabber artists were massive (Endymion), previous underground artists aren't anymore (Darwin - he's been on CXH for ****'s sake, Fracus), and the DJ's on discs 1-3 were huge (I mean Kutski... he's on BBC1!?!?).
Too many people clump songs into two piles, the underground, and the commercial. What does an artist need to do to prove he is a good songwriter & producer? Go into seclusion, struggling to pay the bills, while putting out music that barely makes its way on to a couple comps?
If a song is good, it is good, no matter where or who it comes from! Just because Gammer puts out a song on CXH doesn't mean it automatically sucks, that's just shit.
edit: Also, I went around to some other forums and it really looked like people are taking this one with an open mind. I'm glad! Seeing some fresh faces, more tracks, and what looks to be an epic Hixxy Mix is getting people generally interested.
So for all you people who jump on the "i hate cxh omfg" bandwagon, you should be equally as lame and join the brand new "omg this looks good actually wow" bandwagon.

You cant really review something you haven't listened to yet theres many a song on there that i havent heard so i cant judge it just by there track names hell i may even find the Hardcore remix of that DJ Gollum tune good but lets see :)

I piss on that word... I judge what I hear and what I have heard fom this album. Ive been on myspace and youtube and the works and have listened to as many songs as I could find that are on this album, and enjoyed none.
This is a hardcore album, this is a hardcore forum, and im a hardcore listener, so i have the right to post my views. once again i urge people not to judge other members of the community for their views, but to judge the album.. This putrid activity whereby this thread has become 'political' is ********.
We are a community and should have opinions on different things... There shouldn't be people attempting to create a divide... Almost as if there are cults..

People that come into threads to insult a style of music we all greatly enjoy for no other reason than to "state their view" which has, by the way, been stated by them MANY MANY times on the forum already, is not helping. That is what is creating this divide.
