After months of keeping our mouths shut, we are happy to reveal that the previously-reported upcoming album entitled as TATWCV is the fifth installment in the Crush On Hardcore free-to-download album series. In the last 3 years, Crush On Hardcore received critical acclaim for their different approach of thinking. Previous editions gave the DJs a platform to showcase not only their work, but also from a wide range of both established and up-and-coming artists.
The Album That Was Called V is more creative then the name suggests, it balances musical art and creative strategies above a catch-net filled with a pleasant variety of music styles.
Crush On Hardcore: The Album That Was Called V will be officially available as a free download on March 1st, 2010.

Is it me or is the sample album in the photo on page 1 massive? Or is it just somebody with tiny tiny hands holding it?
Will you be doing disc-labels this time round with the artwork? I managed to print the front covers onto the disc for COH4 and they looked pretty sweet but some properly generated labels for them CDs themselves would be awesome! |

The release has been pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances. The album comes when its done, and its still not 100% done as we speak. With every release things come our way that we could not know in advance. Next time around we won't set a release date as we just cant be sure and we can promise it will definitely be done on that specific date.
Keep checking www.crushonhardcore.com. When that will finally see its rebirth, be sure that the album is done then too. Because of this all, we give away the CD 'Sequel Of The V' first, somewhere this, or maybe next week.
Re: the LTD edition, unfortunately there was too little time to get this all sorted. The idea was to pay the half of the costs out of the money we received from the donation system, but, as you might have seen; the website, and the donation system are far from done yet. The good news is: after 5 volumes the plan is to create a LTD edition with all the COH mixes from every volume. This time around we do try to make this come to a fruition.

I know the whole premise of COH is that it's free, but I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one prepared to pay for this? Would be a shame to only release a limited edition, as it's undoubtedly hard for the people who might have missed out on the first few to download them. |

Depends really, If their upload speed is high then it shouldn't take long.
But bare in mind it's 3cd's/mixes at 320kbps, so that would mean it's a around 700mb in size (not much I know, but upload speed is usually poor compared to download speed [I don't know their ISP they could be uploading at 20mbps for all I know]) plus the sequel album, which will most likely be around 120mb in size, so it could take a few hours or a few minutes. |

This is nothing like that. Let me say it again, CD1 is an entirely Breakbeat mix, something that we think, even Drum&Bass fans might like! Hey....I think the download for Disc 5 on Crush On Hardcore 4 hasn't worked in like a year. I might be wrong, but I think I'm going off memory, and i think I was never able to download it..and neithe rwas my friend. |

It should have been done two weeks ago! Its just more work then we think it will be before we start with the whole process.. Crush On Hardcore 3: A New Era was the only one in the series that was out on the planned release date *shame*
