Okay, I've listened to them all the whole way through. Hixxy's mix is a lot better than I thought. I listened to tracks 1-5 and gave up on it in disgust. Track 6 was horrible too, but then once I got to B&S' remix of Crazy Love I was definitely hooked. The last half of his mix just rocks, up there with his Bonkers X mix. But 9 tracks isn't an entire CD, so I'd have to give it a B- because the first 6 tracks combined are just awful.
Sharkey's mix is tremendous, as always. I like not hearing the same damn artist 26 times on a mix, so Sharkey's mixes are usually my favorite. He doesn't suck up to his buddies (Hixxy - UFO, MC Storm, etc; SB - Himself; Dougal - Gammer, Mickey Skeedale) as much as the others do. Definitely an A for consistency... still packs the hard songs onto his mix. The "FROM THE UPCOMING SHARKY ALBUM" was pathetic, however.
Scott's mix is disappointing, and I'm pretty surprised there's so many people fawning over it. "Bassline of the Century" is the most ironic song title in history, because the bassline in that song sucks. His remixes of Neckbreaker and Rock me Softly can hardly be called remixes. Not that they aren't good, I enjoyed listening to them... but talk about overhyped. They're slight variations of the original. Listen to the two B&S remixes... Crazy Love and Oxygen... those are remixes. Redoing a song with higher production quality does not a remix make. His gabber tracks aren't up to par with Bonkers 12 (probably his best) or 13. C+
Dougal's is just... I dunno even what to say about it. It's just plain bad. Like someone already said, "Count The Hours" is just a disgrace. The Breeze & Styles remix of Oxygen is fantastic, but it's cut short. I mean, we gotta get more Dougal & Gammer and Mickey Skeedale tracks on there, after all. Then we get more of this new style that Dougal & Gammer seem hell-bent on continuing. Ya know, this "bleep bbbbbbbbbleeeeeeeeeeeeeep beep beep bloop bloop" crap. Xtreme, 3000 Cycles, etc. Problem is, the songs just end up being annoying rather than innovative. D
Overall it's not horrible. It's about on par with Bonkers 11, which was decent but not even close to 10 or 12. Scott's mix is really what drags the whole thing down. His 12 and 13 mixes were amazing. This mix is just "HEY HEY GO TO EVOLUTIONRECORDS.COM PLS THANKS!!!!!!!" Hixxy's mix and Sharkey's mix will get played until they melt, however.

I hate to break it to ya, buddy, but Bonkers is upfront HC, not happy HC. Yeah, Hixxy made a HHC mix last time, but Bonkers is a compilation of the current HC scene.

This guy speaks the truth, i agree pretty much 100%. By the way, it was me that pointed out 'count the hours' is appalling!
