So, I've seen the footage and read some accounts of the night. The army or police who ever it was did not have a right to do that by any means. I do not retract my statements about the way alot of parties are busted because of drugs though.
Sam, if you could pm me or hit me up on skype chat I'll explain what I meant about my discomfort some times being around etards.
I do not have any problem with ravers, because ravers keep the scene alive, it's just that it hurts my heart to see young people with so much going for them ruin their lives and bodies for a good night. I know my words will get twisted and people will hate my guts, but I've seen myself be destroyed by drugs and I have rebuilt myself with the help of faith, and by having my faith in God it shakes me to see young people be in such a state. I express myself through my music and I hope that I have presented a good time for dancers and ravers, and I do not doubt my role as a dj, it's just that with my belief system sometimes it saddens me to see young people do things to themselves that can potentially ruin them.
Back to the topic.
The police/army were in fact wrong to do such amazingly terrorizing feats of fear inducing tatics to remove the rave from utah, but it's not really anything new. I've been at parties where the place has been stormed by police officers to the tune of at least a hundred of them. Busts happen, but it did not have to go down like that. Shame on them for Making that happen.
My prayers go out to the injured and I hope that the promotors and the ravers follow through with their lawsuits.
my apologieze if I've offended anyone, I thought that my voice mattered, since I was looking at it from a stand point from not being a raver, just a dj trying to make a living.

I agree with your totally on your point of view Bobby Ritalin!
I have seen myself destroyed by alcohol and i know what you mean about a lot of young people getting wrecked all for the sake of anight out. Am pretty sure that people can enjoy an allnighter without being out of their mind but they will turn round and say
'Yeah but its awesome being out of control'and saying all the loved up stuff to others its all false. Well i wouldnt agree with that as i have seen so many bad experiences with regards to myself and other people.

I highly doubt (and hope) the US army cant just do whatever they like. The order came from someone, the police didnt raid it because they thought its fun, they were also probably fed with propaganda before the operation, how violent, crazy and dangerous drug addicts are (and of course that everyone there is an drug addict). Witch makes it even more scary, few of the fundamentalist elite hate something, and this is the result. Maby next time its not a rave, but something else. The press works as a propaganda machine, so that individual citizens (who these type of things doesnt consern directly) dont complane. And everythings alright again in the free world.

This is getting out there, its out on the major news networks now. I just saw a thread on fark.com regarding this incident. Regardless of legality, there was an excessive amount of police force used and it looks like some heads are going to roll.
