Two things -
1. It's piss easy to rip any music being played through a computer, however it's streamed/received.
2. We're talking 'FREE' music here, so any producer worried about being ripped off shouldn't bother getting involved in the first place.
....How can you be ripped off if you've given it away?

I agree with Ionosphere, it's way too easy to rip to mp3, no matter what format it is streamed in. It's really easy, just record your Stereo Out in your computer. No quality is lost.
Also, if the songs are going to be free, why not let people download them and show them to their friends?
If you think about it, if a person really likes the mix, he would have to log on to your website and stream the SWF each time he wanted to hear it and if he happens to like the very last song he would have to wait for it to be loaded every single time.
If you can afford the bandwidth, that's fine, but don't assume that the listeners will want to take their time to wait for the whole mix to load before they can listen to a single song.

Erm...do the mixes have to contain only unsigned material? Can they contain signed digital material and some on vinyl also?

Submitted mixes for the contest have NO REQUIREMENTS! Recommending 192k mp3 and between 30 and 75 minutes.

so,, if i want in, ive got 2 weeks roughly to make a track?
and from what i gather for the mixing thing, thats its only a demo of how u are at mixing, and that if u win the mixing side then u will have to mix all the chosen track together :D
and i imagine useing software mixing prog's is ok?
