I should know because im making tunes with hard kicks.
If artists like Darren Styles, Gammer & Sy can make dated sounding Hardcore with trance rifts, basslines and vocals then I can get away with making dated Hardcore with hard kicks & organ rifts? At least my Hardcore will sound Hardcore and not another remix of a Clubland tune...

so just because you make it means that gammer and styles are gonna just drop what they are doing and jump on the going backwards bandwagon.....genres evolve..like hardcore has to what it is today..it will do it again but not backwards to big kicks and organ riffs..more cheese and freeform on the cards me thinks

Mate, 80's and 90's music shits all over anything that has come out after '02. We can live in the internet generation at the same time because history gets preserved in the form of vinyl, cd and mp3 and sent down into the future to us.

The 2010s will be a big era for Hardcore!
tbh if i had the ability etc which i sadly don't! I'd love to see the old 1996 97 stabs come back as the beat for some new hardcore tracks because they were always the best for the bouncy sound :)
Do that and you got my vote
