Mine wasnt so much a track, but a mix. About 1998 my mate bought back a tape of Hixxys Bonkers 3 mix from his cousin in Liverpool. I was a bit of an Indie kid at the time and hated the 'Dance Shite' I listened and just loved the energy and vibe of it all, from that moment I was converted! My love affair with Hardcore has been nearly 10 years now and I cant see it stopping!

After seeing an ad on Tv, I decided to buy Original Hardcore 2 about 4 years ago. Every tune was great especially Triple J - Have It All and Uplift & Stargazer - Statik, from then on I started to listen to more hardcore.

i knew i loved electronic music from the beginning, but i also knew that what i had been hearing wasn't enough (at the time just popular dance and detroit techno because of where im from). i started listening to the di.fm channels and eventually decided that hardcore was the one i liked the most, the song that did it for me is hard to be sure but it was definitely off of one of the Mrjakk sets. thanks mrjakk
