well my first liking of hardcore was when i first heard it - the very first tune even, which was hopscotch's Streamtrain (Proper happy) which was off a dougal set (helterskelter tape) which I got off a mate in 2000 at school

I've been listening to hardcore for a long time (around 91' to 92') not completly devoted untill i bought skelters discovery hardcore pack and heard dj seduction and mc (yes MC) sharkey. It was the last hardcore set of the night and sharkey was well f****d by that time. It has to go down as my all time favorite set. That set got me well and truly hooked. i have been to about ahundred raves and own almost five hundred tapes.

Wasn't one particualr tune i don't think, the Druid n Sharkey tape from hardcore heaven in 95/96 is where my obsession began, nearly 8 years later i still aint found a cure:) HMS tape from the technodrome in 96 also put me off gabba for like 2 years lol!! i love that tape now tho!:) think it just scared me at the time being a newbie to hardcore!!

i still don't even know the name of the song /= but i was at my best mate's place about 2 months ago and we were both off our heads and he was playing music.. and i wasn't listening at all because i was never into hardcore or any rave music at all for that matter. and i just remember hearing the most beautiful voice singing 'take my hand and come with me, into the land of ecstasy' and it was soooo right.. since then i've been listening to as much as possible.
(anyone know what song it is, by the way?)
