im only reallly interested in new/old happy hardcore here not normal hardcore or gabba or anythin. . i really love my music fast. like 185+bpm
193bpm is the magic number i reckon :)
ANybody wanna donate some cash to the "Turntables for Gav fund?" ~ If you don't, you could be to blame for the demise of happy hardcore!

What do you mean not normal hardcore ,it doesnt matter what type of hardcore....Its all hardcore ...."normal" Hardcore

well where i live if you say hardcore it means everythign except for happy stuff. . . ie dark/dull/angry hardcore

I tend to play pretty fast. Prolly around 185- 190.

well most tunes seem to be pressed at around 165 - 170 bpm now. im generally up around 175 in my mixes. I like fast but i dont go over the top. It takes some of the rythem out of the tune and doesnt sound like the way it was designed to. IMO

I mix happy hardcore and makina and as makina tends to be slower I play the happy hardcore at around normal speed or slightly faster with the spanish speeded up to match.

thats pretty precise mate.
I think + 5 or so is a better way to judje it for me.
I play my trance even quicker though. Tend to get to around + 8 on that for a lot of tunes.

I use to be +6-8% but now im around -4% - +4% depending on what I start with. Too fast and the tune is over so quick you don't have the oppertunity to really blend. Too slow and it just sounds like shat.
...do it hardcore...
