ok ok... he is poor on the mixin so i suppose drop him.. wot i do like is his quality of content... and his effort. he always trys' hard

i would say out of hixxy,dougal and sharkey it'll have to be hixxy.
but there is plenty of djs out there that is better than hixxy.
my favourite dj would have to be the scratch master dj sy.

without a doubt sharkey. he does the scene good, hes a mint dj, producer AND mc, he just rules.

ok, seeing as how everybody is dissing Anabolic Frolic, minmd me asking why? i personally think he wasent THAT bad of a DJ, there are muuuuuuch worse Dj's out there (me!) but since silver brought up the subject
what DOES make a good DJ besides the beat matching, and timing, what is it that makes them sooooooooo good (Hixxy, Scott Brown, Dougal, any other good Dj's) and what makes them sooooooooooo bad? (Anabolic Frolic and any other bad DJ's)

But that question applys to so many things... Wot makes a tracks so good or bad? for instance...
I'd say this is wot defines it,... A good DJ is sum1 who can keep puttin out the tunes and always gettin more and more people listenin...
Like the way the chart works.... Most popular (sales) is top... So in a way you can say the DJ with the most people after his tunes is the best.

A good DJ as far as I am concerned is one who can get you so hyped up and into the music that you forget about everything else for the time he is playing. He/She will take you on a rollercoaster journey full of ups and downs. they'll lift you up then drop you down, then just as you're starting to calm down a bit they'll take you even higher than you were before.
Can't say Anabolic Frolic has ever done that for me :-/

hmmmm....a good dj for me is one that knows how to move a crowd, has variation in his sets, and try's new things. When I'm listening to a really good dj I'll be totally into what he is playing, but at the same time I can't wait to hear the next track. For me a good dj keeps me in suspense.
