yea jutt that seriously put me off dnb i have aone nation cd and they just yammer on the biggest load of bollox for an hour and ya cant even hear the tunes, and all the this rewinnndddddd urgh does my head in, soz i aint an mc so i wudnt know and wudnt have a clue about startin to mc, lol sayin that i aint much of a dj either, but i just do it for fun, i think that alot of ppl nowadays forget that its mainly a hobby and many are gonna be very disappointed if they think there gonna be superstar dj's, personally i'd love it to happen but i know it aint gonna, unless something dramtic happens and i'm offered the chance of a lifetime,

People 4get that real music seens are so small, i think every1 is blinded by pap idol and big rap stars with rented 'BLING' givin a distorted image of what realy supports pop.

I mean if you make it in the hardcore seen, like regular big events, you still aint gona lead a lavish lifestyle with half nakid birds dansin round feedin u grapes.

Reality (or atleast my understandin) is its a freelance lifestyle, when you gettin booked (as a dj or mc) money will be commin in and when you dry the money will stop.

I supose if you wana career or to make any money your gona have to ensure regular bookings over a long period of time, not just a couple of months.

I origonally started MCin as a bit of fun with one of my mates, at that time i had no plans to follow it up or get serious, its only over the last 6 month or so ive had any drive to look for a night. Thing is im gettin so frustrated cuz there aint any small nights round where i live so where am i gona perform?

I tend to sway towards more lirical styles, not to get noticed, but because its what ive been used to, my influences have been more from rap and garage than hardcore. i starten MCin to garage, then over DnB, I cant help that and to be honest i pleased (and suprised) about how things are taking shape (although i dont listen to any garage or rap anymore).

I supose liricism is an art in the same way that any other form of mcin or music, i like to create somethin on a piece of paper that says somethin and sound good, more frestyle MC's will try to please in other ways and the skills are equally hard to lern.

If anybody has any advice about gettin from the bedroom to the stage id well appreaciate it or anybody who has or knows some1 who has a small night that may be simpathetic to an MC tryin to get started let me know cuz i could do with gettin rid of this frustration (its gettin 2 me like a bad nikki cravin).

oh s*it man, what was i saying?

all i can say is a hate it when they keep tellin you to blow your whistle, im already ****ing blowing it.
everyone already makes noise in a breakdown so dont keep stopping the music to tell us to do it over and over again.
one rewind at the peak of a set is good but not 5 or 6 times.gets really irritating.
i love the positive lyrics that storm has about like "i dont believe in failiure, you can do it if you try" etc. i think thats well cool and keepin with the hardcore vibe. but dont like hip hoppy lyrics like "bad boy" and "from the streets" and sh*t like that. hardcore needs more possitive lyrics.
oh and i ***ING HATE it when mcs talk over the song lyrics!!!!
