I'm thinking of buying this one... I have bonkers 3 and it's just pure amazing! I also have 5 and I like that too. So is this one as good as 3? how are the mixe's different from 3 and/or 5? like BPM and mood (happy, dark, uplifting, softer...harder)

-Hixxy's mix starts off pretty trancy, but then gets into some happy vocal stuff. (you'd think he would have fixed a few of those mixes)
-Sharkey's mix is typical stuff for that time period. Hard and fast.
-Dougal's mix is chock full of the big cheesy anthems, played way too slow.

Wicked CD!!!!....Only Dougal's mix gets played from me :)....I cant say I've every noticed the slowness ..Hmmm

4 is great, sharkeys mix is my fav fast, hard and uplifting - pity they cut product of society though...one of the best on there .. suggest when you buy it, skip track 1 and listen from then on,
hixxy's and dougals mixes are ok too ::)

its not bad dougals set is the best for me wiv songs like Sail Away shooting star Dont you realise Feelin fine The underground sweet thing . love it
hixxys mix isnt bad but no were near as good as his bonkers 2 mix.

IMO this and 9 are the best Bonkers CD's... Devil Licious "By My Side" alone makes it worth buying, not to mention Sub-Ace & Aura "My Dreams" :)

I love it! hixxy plays some class tunes off tunnel records, one of my favorite labes, love the start to his mix. BEST START EVER!

Hixxy's mix starts out with some uplifting trance stuff, then around song 8, all the happy vocals and melodys come back into the mix.
Sharkey's mix is very dark, but pretty good
Dougal's mix is the best!!! I love everyone song on that mix. I think that this is the best Dougal has ever done on the Bonkers series. Yes, the songs are kinda slow, but they are really cheesey and bouncey.

thanks to everyone who replied! right! Just bought it, well ordered it off the React site... should come around next week, hopefully a bit earlier. (buying it off the net cause my HMV never stocks number 4, never has and probably never will, they only stock 9, X, X1 ... that's Worcester HMV)

Innit, Dougals finest hour in my opinion!! Well worth getting just for his mix, yeah it's pretty slow, but when the tunes r of that kinda quality who gives a fcuk:D

As people have said above - Dougal's mix on this Bonkers if fcuking spectacular! My Dreams and Universe are probably my favourites.
Wong - sorry man! I did listen to the first mix on Bonkers 10, but I just couldn't get on with it! It really doesn't do anything for me. Couldn't find the enthusiasm to resurrect (Bonkers 8 title?) the old Bonkers 10 thread. :-(
