I'm really unhappy with Mtv Dance.
They play all the crap genres:
Like commercial-dance, modern soul, RNB, and all manner of Urban IZO, Which sucks.
MTV : Dance Should do the following things:
Ditch the F****** 2/4 rhythm.
Ditch the F****** 3/4 rhythm
And ditch the all the tunes that repeated over, and over, and over, and over, and over AGAIN
on RADIO PLAYLIST.
I want variety, I want UNDERGROUND.
Play more Techno Music.

MTV:E-to-the-izo/B-to-the-zizo/she-to-the-fizzo/r-to-the-boizo.........

I quite like Garage music tho. 
But its hard 2 find decent garage music nowadays.

yeah, I agree that it certainly could be better. You get some ok old-skool tunes on it sometimes tho. I think they should introduce more variety - you see the same shows on it all the time (like the old-skool one I just mentioned).
I guess you can't expect too much from such a big station tho.

Not had sky for a while and have to say when i recently watched mtv dance at a mates house i was very disappointed in how its changed. I remember it as a half good channel for bigger club events and could find some good chilled trance at 3 in mornin and such, has never been underground but good all the same. Now seems it's all rnb and the like but it's just reflectin tastes of people that watch it.

What do you expext from a channel who's target audience is mainly commercial club goers.

All MTV channels are rubbish they are designed to cover a certain style(s)/genre(s) of music, and none of them do that!

i only watch MTV for the shows. Jackass, Wild Boyz, Punk't, Boiling Points, Pimp My Ride. Quality enteraintment there...but i have noticed that mtv's version of dance music is anything but really really hard stuff. We are an underground culture crow....i like it like that :)

and wildboyz? ugh.. i watched that show once.. it was just like all the nature skits on jackass that i hated.

MTV is shite never watch it for the music all thats on the normal mtv is reality shows some are good but id prefer more music and different types not just pop rap and rnb.
MTV hardcore channel theres an idea.

Rapture TV is better. Can't remember what channel it's on though. I've seen them filming at a few hardcore events but haven't watched the channel long enough to see any footage from any hardcore raves on there...
