i usually end up sitting in front of the digital knowing that all the channels and programs are shit, and just go straight to the music channels. i flick up and down channels bored of my head coz its all the same shite.
i dunno why i bother so i go straight to hhc.com radio or hardcoreregime's radio or whatever and just be happy

I will agree with two things: yeah MTV dance is more geared towards mainstream styles of music, and most of the stuff thats worth listening to, in my oppinion, isn't mainstream as of yet (and maybe it's better that way). And I also agree that it's more worth watching MTV for shows like jackass, boiling point, and cribs (yes I like to watch nice ass houses that I will never be able to afford myself).
But why is it that I can't watch the MUSIC television channel for music anymore?

Yeah well i think mtv dance is a pile a shite
nothin but the same crap all the time any time
i go 2 it playin nuttin but commercial dance
thats on all the other stations its a waste o time

I must admit I don't even bother flicking through the MTV channels there just part of the big list of sky channels I never watch.
Rapture TV can be ok but i couldn't find it saturday is it still there? I may have just been too drunk to navigate the channel pages.

I think Rapture has shut down for now. However, one of their staff is in the process of attempting to start up a channel dedicated only to Hardcore. Think that could be interesting...

seeing all this crap you guys are talkin about MTV:Dance makes me glad we dont have it. We just have MTV2 which basically shows re-runs and Celebrity "Best Of..." countdowns.... not much to brag about but at least MTV isnt tryin to act like it knows whats goin on in the Hard Dance, Hardcore scene.

Here's my Idea of How MTV Dance could be split.
MTV:Techno which is all the base genre for all the "Hard-and-fast" sub genres
MTV:Disco&Northern-Soul (For the classic Mirror-Ball-Lovin, Flashing-tile-loving Boogie-Boys)
MTV:Dance(plain Ordinary.......4/4 dance& trance, eg MinistryOf Sound, Mix Mag, Jockey Sluts)
MTV:UrbanFor Getting down with my homeboys, bustin fat ryhmes ect ect.
