i like the original ultimate buzz version better. I woz quite excited about this tune but it is VERY similar to the original-not enuff work done on it IMO.

did Ultimite Buzz originally do this? My mate has a few old 12s of theirs but most of them are shite. The covers are amazing tho!!!!!!

i've just listed to hixx's mix and it was ****in amazing iam listin to scott browns mix now and its good so far. iam keepin the best till last and that is the one and only DOUGAL.

Finally got my copy of bonkers 2 day
Hixxys mix
have to say i'm bloody loving it, brings back so many good memories(fishing-trips personal thing)
scotts mix is ****ing amazing as always
sharkeys mix is ok but have to listen 2 it again
well worth the purchase

Its nearly been a week since its release and I've finally had a chance to listen to all of it!
Hixxy mix is nice although I'd rather it was new material - I love oldskool (its what I was brought up on!) but if I want to listen to some I'd rather get an old release than listen to old material on a new release. I know Raverbaby has been having a few problems but imo he should've played tunes off other labels - give everyone a chance!
Scott Brown - didn't like it at first but after a few listens it has grown on me. The gabba at the end isn't as good as his previous mixes tho (was really looking forward to that part  ). Plus System "Rock That Body" is a TUUUUNE tho!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dougal - brilliant! So glad to have him back on Bonkers. Dougals the man!!!! Dougal & Gammer "Xtreme" stood out for me, as well as the massive amount of vocals - I love it!!!!!
Sharkey - woooaaahhh!!!! His mixes aren't usually my favs (well, these days anyway!) but this one...holy sh*t! I was amazed - definately an improvement on B12. Two tracks that impressed me: Ham - "Jump 2 da Groove" (love the piano!) and Cris.E.Manic - "Just One More" (whaaat a great tune!!! - bassline is like thunder!)
(Where are all the shout outs?)
Another great Bonkers! Still my fav hardcore CDs...

ive kinda stopped listenin 2 the other mixes and am leaning towards Sharkey's mix now-IMO this is 1 of his best mixes yet-I'm lovin it.

The vocals on Dougal's mix are by far my favorite part of the whole set, I think they make the whole thing worth buying.
I personally did not like Hixxy's mix at all (except for the last track), but I've only been into hardcore for about a year so I don't really have any connection to old school stuff.
I didn't give much attention to Sharkey and Scott Brown yet, but Scott is ususally too hard/dark for my taste and Sharkey ususally takes a back seat to Hixxy.

well i do agree that scott browns mixes on this iz great had 13 for a week now had a good listen 2 it all first seat goes 2 scott brown , 2nd dougal 3rd hixxy 4 sharkey in my opinion , and does anybody else think that dougal`s mix is starting 2 sound like hard house with the break beat`s and stuff ?

Got this CD few days ago. Sharkey's and Dougal's mixes are my favourites.
From Dougal's mix ive been playing at least 20 times a day "Makin' Me Wanna Dance" and "Silver Dawn" <3 ...and from Sharkey's mix "Adagio" and "London-Helsinki Underground". i'm really starting to like Sharkey's mixes more and more, before i only liked few tunes on them.
Hixxy's mix was good, i had almoust all of the tunes on other CD's, so it didnt really provide anything "new" to me.
Was a bit dissapointed with Scott Brown's mix, after listening the first 10 tracks, was almoust going to change the CD, coz it was... well, boring. But build my hopes on the last gabber tracks, and well, as always they were really good. Loved the last 7 tunes. It seems that a lot of people liked Scott's mix, but i dont like the evolution tunes that much, Scott has always been a really good producer and DJ, but IMO most of the new tunes dont have any "new ideas". Just same old, same old. I loved hes mix on Bonkers 9, but the mixes after that are getting more and more boring.

^^^ Agree with the bit about Scott Brown- defo think he needs some new ideas.
Overall i am VERY dissapointed with it except from Sharkeys mix. When i got Bonkers 12 i was amazed by it (except from some of the shitty choons on B+S's mix) but overall i cudnt help but shout with joy. Scotts mix was alright although slightly boring and only 2 non gabba tracks i hadnt heard already. Thort Hixxys was alright for an old school mix but again, nothing to shout about. Im not sure about dougals yet, slightly to cheezy and sounds 2 much like HTID2 to me (which i was even more dissapointed with - Hixxy and Recon's mix was shit IMO)
Its not that Bonkers 13 is bad, its just nothing new or exciting IMO(excluding Sharkey from all of this)
On a happier note, its Christmas soon, wahey!

Scott Browns mixes are very similar - I know what you mean - but overall I much prefer his mix on 13 to his one on 12. Same goes for Sharkey. As for Dougal - his mix is sounding really nice - as good as Hixxy 12 imo, and way way better than BnSs mix! Overall I'm really pleased with it - certainly my fav nu-skool Bonkers to date (although I must admit I haven't heard all the new Bonkers!)
The only part of 13 I don't like is the Hixxy Old Skool mix - I've got plenty of nicer oldskool mixes from the past already - but I think this mix wasn't intended for me, its for the new breed of raver who hasn't heard a lot of oldskool before. Its good to know your history!
So, overall, imo, B13 = excellent! - B12 = nearly as good!
