Well, lots of people who I talk to at hardcore raves who are new to the scene are heavy metal type people.
I just went from Metallica and Guns'n'Roses to Scott Brown and Dougal
For some reason it wasnt a far step over

^^^ Yeah I heard that story a lot, when I was growing up I was the only guy in my group of friends that liked hardcore and dance music, they hated it with a passion and called it doof doof music....
I moved to Japan and went back to Australia last year for a holiday to find all my friends into hardcore....

I was into Queen & Status Quo when I were a lad (hey I'm a mature clubber ok?) before I got into hardcore. I was listening to them both for a few years too. Still love that stuff now, but I only listen to hardcore!

girl isnt a raver.....
boy takes girl to a rave (diehard) for her first time ever
girl falls in love with hardcore and technoand becomes raver!
boy dumps girl!
girl meets new boy at rave
girl and boy marry and rave on
been together for 8 years!
