What direction do you think the hardcore sound - should take next?

Who is your favourite producer?

lol very funny. By direction i ment , where is it going musically.

How much further can producers take the trancey hardcore sound before everyone gets bored of it? or even freeform for that matter.

Im asking because ive been sitting in the studio for the last 2 months writing tracks and have scrapped the lot of them. Not that they sounded crap or anything. The problem was they were sounding like everything else at the moment. I think the last track that truly gave me that (wow! what a ****in tune!) feeling was oli g and jessicas "Miasma". A breath of fresh air.

Gettin board of freeform? Sorry man but freeform has plenty enough differnt sounds and styles, i doubt people will get board of it. And i think the "trancey hardcore sound" will evolve nicley into something else.

Drugs may be the road to nowhere, but at least they're the scenic route. . .

Im hoping to make alot of new blends, people like kev energy and scott brown working together. OR Gammer and sharkey, mixing freeform with the new upfront trancy stuff.

I think the recorder and the bagpipes are going to be making a big impression on the hardcore scene in 2005

I jus think they should keep adding more variation taking influence from diff genres and hardcore scenes around the world. Personally i'd love to see a lot more hard and bouncy tracks plus a lot more dj'ing skills used in mixing, like scratch and 3 deck dj's getting some entertainment into the shows.

Venga familia!!!

i like the trancey stuff on freeform tho, hardcore should def jus pick up influence from here n there and keep moving onwards, so long as it stays about the music and isnt turned into corporate money makin style music i'l be happy
