crackpot here says soon we can live to 1000 years of age, and he's thinking within the next 20 years!
so, would you do it if you had the chance?
when it comes to the ethics behind it, i found this quote from it to be quite clever
"There is no difference between saving lives and extending lives, because in both cases we are giving people the chance of more life. To say that we shouldn't cure ageing is ageism, saying that old people are unworthy of medical care."
interesting huh? would you do it?

Yes, though i dont believe in that thing. Pretty much anything from your body can be fixed, except your brain. ATM we dont know pretty much anything about brain, and i doubt it will change. There are so many things that damage brain when you get older, its just not designed to work that long. I dont think its impossible to stop or slower brains ageing, but very unlikely in the near future IMO...

When you save someones life your doing it becasue its not their time to go if they get run over or anything like that its an accident and not an act of god in most cases anyway thats my opinion.

Its impossible to die because of ageing, you always die because of some desease etc. Its just that when your old, your body cant fight against those that well anymore. So now your saying, old people shouldnt get med care, because getting a desease is natural, and trying to cure it is playing god?

Yea that is what im saying everyone on earth is here to live and die at a certain age not twenty but around 90-100 and when i say medical care i mean to the extreme that your man is talking about not flu jabs and stuff like that.
If everyone was to live until 1000 the world would be packed.

if it was possible I think it would be interesting to see what happens within the next millinium. but I feel like mark said, if something like this was feasible then things like birth control and limiting of children would have to be cracked down on because we would overpopulate the world far too quickly.
that or maybe the rich could hunt the poor for sport =P
