HOW POPULAR IS HARDCORE IN UK? is it like all over the radio and tv?
here in america like basically no one knows what hardcore is. and like almost no one mixes it. yea there are a few people but im saying compared to the rest of american its like nothing.
i cant imagine it being all over tv and radio it would kinda ruin the whole thing in my opinion.

Last time i really heard HH on the radio was Stu Allan. HH used to be on tv on a show called BPM a few years ago, but like B.C said its only really adverts for trendy cd's now. There's still records stores that sell vinyl n stuff, and you hear tunes bangin' outta cars as they go by, but as for mainstream coverage not a chance.
I disagree with B.C in the fact that it is not popular, its just underground.

Same with ireland the uk scene looks popular compared to the scene over here. I like it this way though makes events and stuff more exciting and better to look forward too because of how rare they are.

You know with raves people are there because they want to be, not because they are told to be by the media like Oasis "fans" & The Darkness "fans" ect

I don't know about hardcore being so "unpopular" in the states. It's definitely MORE popular (and mainstream) in the UK, but... In the L.A. area there is a hardcore event (more gabber style tho usually) every other weekend and all the major record stores carry both HHC and Hardcore. Shit, last time I was in a warehouse they had all the Anabolic Frolic CDs, Happy Rave and I BELIEVE (don't remember for sure) one of the Bonkers.
Also, there are several major record stores in Cali dedicated to Hardcore:
Dr. Freeclouds - Costa Mesa
Subsonic Store - Sacramento
Subsonic Records (unrelated, surprisingly) - Encinitas
Underground Culture (or whatever they call it these days) - Hollywood
and H2OH recordings is in L.A. too, I just don't know if they have a store or not.
