HA! some of you think we dont have chav like dudes here in the US?? Puuuuleeeeez we have a whole lot of them called "wannabe ballers" or "wannabe gansters" They wear all the sporty gear and they RELIGOUSLY wear the exact brand name of shoes that match their gear. These types are seen prominently in big SUV's like Cadiallac Escalades and Range Rovers.
Boom-Boom "kill somebody" Boom-Boom "smoke a blunt" Boom-Boom "yeee i like my bling bling" those sorta songs.....

'katrinar50', comments like that really piss me off. Chatterbob is right too. A single piece of clothing can't classify WHO someone is.

Not to go off topic but almost every ned/chav ive seen owns every clubland album so im worried with clubland xtreme hardcore around the corner neds/chavs coming into hardcore more it scares me.

I thought Chavs Nowaday, Listen to Duffa-fat-daddy-ryhmes E-TO IZO, B TO THE SIZO, R TO THE Enzo, RnB, Hip-Hop, Rap, and urban bollocks.
I also thought back in the day, from 1992-1997 Chavs Listened to H Hardcore, and for some reason, have changed to listening to IZO.
Because when i was 10 yrs only(1994), i distinctly remember chavs racing around reading, listening to:
"Hold Me Know"
"Burning Love"
"(NOW) Who's in control"
"Children Of The Night"
ect ect
I'd like to have "Raver-chavs" back than Cary on with these....TWAT!!...
"50 Cent/Eminem/Comercial RnB fan Chavs"
(Impromptu Ade Edmondson)
My Overall Point is Times change and so do "Urban-Smart-Casuals"
(Which is a more polite, and kind, name for them)

I think it all depends on where you are from to be honest, 'chavs' seem to be listening to different types of music in diefferent areas, that what it seems like anyway from what i can make out from some of these posts...
