Hey Hardcore people, you might remember my post I put in about that tossa who slagged hardcore and the Bonkers 14 cd in the Australian dance music press called 3d world.
Well they were overwhelmed with angry emails in their letter section from passionate hardcore fans. Which make me very proud to know we are'nt a scene thats takes crap from narrow minded dickheads in other scenes.
Here's some of the emails they received and printed in the magazine from you the hardcore fans!! And the editors replies!
(Letter 1) called-
THE SCORE
I'm raw to the floor cause i love my hardcore. You know the score and what i'm waiting for. Yeah bro it's banging hardcore!!

(Letter 2) called-
SIR MORON
You narrow minded fool, if you actually believe Bonkers and ultimately hardcore has a 12 year old fan base then you sir, are a moron.
Editors Reply- Who is a narrow minded fool? Who is a moron? Wot? The **** are you on about?
(Letter 3) called
NO CLUE
DEAR 3D
U AINT GOT A CLUE ABOUT HARDCORE SO SHUT THE **** UP!!!
Editors Reply- What we don't have a clue about is what the hell you are talking about. What the hell is going on with you hardcore people this week? You're all ****ing bonkers.
So there you have it, for some reason the editor has a short term memory and does'nt remember the review..... Or chooses not to remember it ...... Or does'nt edit the cd reviews. Who knows! Thanx!! all who responded.
You can check your letter out on their website at www.threedworld.com.au in the the junkmail section or you can explain to them what's goin on, to their email address [email protected].

Personally I found the editors reply to the first e-mail hilarious.

I am used to people slating hardcore now and I dont really give a chuck I like it and thats all that matters to me, who cares what some person said in some magazine.

I do, because not only he disrespected hardcore, but he gave the Brits a bad impression to the readers.
I think its great that so many of us e-mailed them to tell them how we feel. Even if some of them cudnt keep their "f***ing" cool.

If you were goint to go to all that trouble to try and make a point, surely you should have considered something that wasn't going to reinforce their view that hardcore was for kids?
Just played right into their hands...
But hey, at least Jenks managed to make some kind of point!

oh come on your joking aren't you.
Did you guys really think that sending them an emails saying that they are morons and that they don't understand without any sustainance or arguement is going to make them change their minds about what hardcore is all about?
if i were in the same position as that editor, i would've answered in exactly the same way he did.
if you want to show your enthusiasm for hardcore, please, PLEASE, construct an arguement first. don't just tell them that they are "morons" without at least due reasoning for such an opinion.
if anything you lot have damaged relations between hardcore and the rest of the music world that reads these magazines.
