I'm a middle class 21 yr old ex student, taking a gap year.

But i'm NOT a yuppie.

I DONT have a degree, and i've just finished studying GNVQ Foundation

Music Technology, and Business.

I dont have a car, i still live with my parents, and i dont have a girlfreind.

I know chavs swear at you when your on your bike, Graffiti everything, throw bottles, and wear crap clothing.

But Yuppies are the basterds that were lucky enough to get a chance to study for there degree, get a very well paid job in the most respected part of the city.

And drive arround in Audi TT's, and when it comes to paying for their £500 Champaigne bill, complain they dont have enough dough for petrol, in a loud arrogant and chirpy voice.

So what your saying basically is is hearing people complaining about the price of petrol worse than having bottles thrown at you?

Sorry to hear about your love life, but congrats on the GNVQ

No i think the milleage of cars nowadys is crap.

And when you put light on that, the far-fetched conspiracy theories about the oil companies deliberately sabotaging High Milleage engine technologies, so they can cary on making obscene profits from Oil, then they dont seemso far Fetched.

But everyones first impulse on conspiracy theories is to say they are rubbish, and usually they are.

But they have a clever nack of hooking you into beleiving, there are theories i will believe without question for months, then when i deconstuct them and do some research, i find out they are rubbish.

Thanks to the internet, we dont know whats right or wrong anymore.

To be absolutely accurate i suppose what annoys me are.

Young Urban Filthy Rich Proffesionals

Not rich because they have stuff given to them, but because they have such well paid jobs at an obscenly young age.

One day we will have a 16 yr old with their own company.

By the way are there any £60K per annum wage packet 16yr olds i need to kill.

I don’t see a problem with a young person having a well paid job? Sounds like a bad case of jealousy to me.

No, because it sounds like it wasn't permanet.

Your 2.1 degree didn't get you it either, not that your entitle to that level of education at 15.

But if there was a way for yuppies to be Legally educated to 2.1 degree level at 4 months old, i'm sure their parents would find a way.

Probally through brain reconstruction, sleep tapes, drugs, baby blocks with Polynomials painted on them.

So you have something against students? Or 'silver-spoon' students? Or 'silver-spooners' in general? Or anyone with more money than you?

I don't get it.....

Me neither. I know lots of people my age with great careers earning lots of money. They worked hard to get where they are today. If you work hard at what you want to do then you will get where you want to go, its as simple as that. Have to agree it does sound like jealousy...... can't blame you though heh

Eggy123 - A levels and degrees can land you with a good well paid job but that is not the only reason people do them, sometimes its out of pure interest for the subject they are studying. It is very possible to get good money if you put in the effort without getting either of the above but to follow some careers they are essential.
