Just listened to HN2 and I am sick of this new hardcore sound. I often hear people say years 95,96 have gone and in the past but then hardcore hasn't really changed in the last five years, freeform is alright but not really the same as happy hardcore, the new techno tracks sound Ok but the beats arn't like the original mid 90s ones and hardcore sounds more like "Hard house on fast forward" IMO. The beast hare hidden by bass lines anbd every track sounds the same (on HN2)
compared to just 16 tracks on Happy 2 B hardcore 1, 16 tracks entertain me far more than 3 or 4 mixes on new albums which i find myslef skipping through thing "I wish i was back 10 years ogo"
just my opinion but I have a love for the old skool and the new hardcore does little or nothing for me

I like the new style of Hardcore, it's just the the wispy pussy romantic soft shit that pisses me off. Like the stuff you would hear on the end of Titanic but slown down, this is why we have all the Teenie-Boppers getting into it, and when they hear the older shit they are like "ewwww wtf iz dis". And a more mature look would go nice aswell, as stated in the other thread.

i'm only slamming a bit of hardcorethere are good new hardcore tracks about but a few of us feel that its getting a bit "all the same" and miss the old skool where there was no rules which is what made hardcore...

i heard the B&S cd and thought, well for a start it's mostly their own songs in the mix (a bit like scottbrown but not as smug) and the preset sounds are ALL the bloody same... go on! listen to that cd right now as you are reading this and tell me I'm lying......

poppycock! I dont know why you think happy hardcore is harder than the new stuff anyway, the new stuff is harder and it has more energy too :p Happy hardcore was great, it was a big part of mine and probably many other people on this sites lives, but it's finished! stop crying about it.
Maybe if you stoped crying about happy hardcore being dead for two seconds and gave the new stuff a try you might be able to find something you like.
