Perhaps there isnt any WMD but sadam killed 1000's of his people maybe millions , and big ditches were found with them all in. So the death toll of the war isnt half as much as the people he killed
the genocide of the those people happened 13years ago, because there was a civil war
they lost (kurds) and this was there punishment for uprising and since saddam had to take back the city (which he never got control of anyway), blood was spilled

Erm, so what your saying is, if i come to Britain with shit load of soldiers, tanks etc, you would think its OK as long as our "intent" isnt to kill civilians? If you would come to my country with weapons, kill a shit load of civilians, while taking over the natural resources of my country. Of course i would try to kill you.

Seriously I don't get involved in politics on this or any forum but I have to say that there are a lot of flaws and unfounded assumptions with your article Priest.
HTH
Kat
yeah i know the flaws, that's mostly a piece for english, i can't side with both sides or stick or have several ideas so i had to pick a statement and stick with it. i'll have you know that it's not my opinion (entirely) either. but i'm happy you actually read the thing :D. as for references teacher doesn't ask me for em cause he sees me reading too much and doesnt want to have to check them all out. i can score you a couple once i re-read the piece :P
as of toady i don't beleive in the iraqi war but i do beleive in the Peacekeeping bit in the UN (could be because i'm going over eh?)
oh and don't ask for any work on what my actual opinion is, i've never been able to put it down and actually summarize everything i've got to say, as i constantly think and change while i write.
forgot another thing, the 'drug ridden hippie' bit wasn't meant to offend anyone, should of clarified that, it's an inside joke i shouldnt of put up.

So in other words i can deside what political system your country should have, and kill everyone that disagrees with me? Cool.

Well on the day that US troops invaded baghdad, they seemed happy then

And election day they all went to vote even when threatened by insurgents.
So if you were living there you'd rather live under a totalitarian regime than under a democracy were you get the vote, more rights, right to a fair trial

Yes, it does. What it acheeves for my country, is to have an army good enough to be able to defence it, if someone tryes to invade.

Every finnish guy has to go to army for 6-12 months (Women can go volunteerly). If you dont want to go, you can do civilian service, which is 13 months working free for the government. If you refuse to do either, then its 6 months in jail.
Anyway, if you go to army, after the military service, you can volunteer to be a peacekeeper, and soon i would assume for The European Union Rapid Reaction Forces. Though i dont know much about our army... as i havent even been there yet :p
