Since me and the burd have worked our way through all of the Snowblind Studios PS2 collection (Dark Alliance 1 & 2 and Champions of Norrath 1 & 2), we're looking for similar 2-player slash'em'ups with the same kind of (fantasy) feel to them.
I know there are plenty of hardcore gamers lurking around on the forums so have you guys (or gals) got any ideas?

I thought Dark Alliance was Baldurs Gate?
Me n my m8 like tannin them games, the four you've already mentioned in particular.
Try 'Heroes' - can't remember whether that was PS2 or XBOX tho

Yeah, they are Baldur's Gate but there was an original Baldur's Gate for the PC that was completely different (another of my favourite games).

Don't know if there is a PS2 version of Neverwinter Nights...
Could be, if there is, might be worth trying it

Dungeons & Dragons Heroes is what im on about.

checked out d&d heroes, only on xbox.....was supposed to be released on ps2 but they cancelled it....looks like a really good game as well, gutted.

I've seen some reviews for it on PS2 sites.

I think its out on PS2 in the states but never got a release over here.
I was quite confused reading reviews for it as well but I can't find it to buy anywhere and it's stated as being cancelled on a lot of sites.

Gutted.
Well if your into fighting games as well then check out soul calibur 3 if you haven't already.
Theres a mode where you can design your own character and as you progress you unlock new weapons, clothes, armour etc
Tis a damn good game

mhmm, not following consoles anymore since i don't have a ps2 anymore, just 2 big paperweights resembling a ps2
also not a big fan of most RPG's (B.C if you're looking for decent RPG's, never look for them on consoles ^^) but although i have never played it i heard the lord of the rings games are decent and are two player

got all the LOTR games but I can't get into them. Two Towers is okay but its just not as entertaining as DA or Champions.
The only reason I'm looking for console games like these is to include the burd in my gameplaying so she doesn't end up sittin in the kitchen doing cross-stitches, and the only kind of game she is capable of playing are slash'em'ups.
Well into my RPGs and strategies on the PC as well though. Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 are quality, as are all the C&Cs(well.....except Renegade).

Because then I'd have to explain the concept of an ore refinary to her, and I don't have til 2009 so I'll just stick to the Slash'em'ups...shes good at pushing the same button repeatedly!
