Was just thinking Hardcore could be prescribed as an antidepressant. It's impossible to feel depressed whilst listening to it.

If it's got speed up vocals a hard kick drum beats then it impossibled to feel sad, maybe tracks like Love you more (Paul Elstak/Visa) might make you feel very 'emotional' to by gone memorys like some (dare I say it) club music does to me

I reckon its subjective on the person... if they have bad memories of hardcore, its not gonna help, or if they hate it, its gonna give them the sh***... but then for most people on the site it'll help...
who can b sad to Eye Opener? or Toy Town? or Everytime I close my eyes? (go the ultracheese to make ANYONE smile!)

Hahahahah That's hilarious, thats exactly what I do. Although sometimes a Coffee or Redbull if I'm tired. Caffeins great when listening to Hardcore.
Should serve Tea and Coffee at raves. Sounds stupid,
but would give people a safe high and plenty of energy;)

Hardcore might help to raise the mood a little but there's absolutely no chance that solely listening to music will cure depression!

exactly im not talking about people that are a bit pissed off or going through a bad time or attention seekers or drama queens, for that yes mibbe listening to the music you love will help.
I'm very close to someone who's had depression for 27 years and it just aint that simple, even having kids doesnt cure it so i find the thought of whackin on a bit of cheesy music as a miracle cure stupid.

One thing to not listen to when you're depressed:
Arkitech - DeHumanise
hehe, brilliant tunage, just gives you the blues.
