not that I diss vinyl, but CD and digital releases should be as good as vinyl, not all of us are real DJs and only collect singles for the TRACK, not the MIX

BEHIND U ALL THE WAY KULE!!!!! i mean CD-Js are ok but their artificial and take almost most the things which r good about mixing out of mixing! i mean CD-Js are good and i pleased there here but itl be rubbish if they get rid of vinyl and we have to rely on CD-Js because there nothing in comparrission!!!!!

cdj's can do a whole hell of alot more than a turntable can. Any one of you that hate on cdj's, have you ever even used a Pioneer Cdj 800 or Cdj 1000? They are more in depth than you will ever know, since I'm sure the closest you've ever gotten to one is at guitar center. No big Dj or any Dj worth anything will agree with you that cdj's are the bane of the dj's exsistance. Vinyl is great, and I love my technics, but can my technics take an 8 beat loop and play it seamlessly for the extra 2 minutes that one may need to compensate for the long intro on certain tracks? No. Can I scratch just as well on CDJ as I can on a Technics? well, much better because the needle doesn't skip on a CDJ.
Try using them before you slate them. I'm sure the only reason why is not because you don't know how to use the CDJ is that you don't know how to use your mixer. CDJ's don't take anything away from dj'ing, lack of mixing skills takes away from dj'ing.

Personally I love vinyl and will keep buying it until it stops getting produced but I also think CD-J's are great.

only thing vinyl has over CD is real analog sound and it has been used for ages. but then there's also the technical aspects
how many times can you play a vinyl compared to a CD, without loosing quality?
would you rather carry heavy vinyls instead of alot of CDs?
only time a CD would have bad quality than vinyl is if the CD is burned using compressed files (mp3,ogg,wma), other than that, CDs are a technical wonder :D
anyways, when it comes to mixing live, using a PC is shit, and before you guys slate me for that because I use a PC to make my mixes, I only make mixes, and nothing else

There is actually a scientific reason why vinyl is better and will never be replaced cd's are digital they work on a 1 and 0 basis where as vinyl in 0 0.1 0.2 0.3 0.4 0.5 0.6 0.7 0.8 0.9 1 so makes for a better level of sound, anyone who dont believe this can look it up so im afraid its gotta be vinyl all the way.
Vinyl will always be the way to go !!

I actually just said it, since the "data" isnt stored digitally on a vinyl (i would love to see that happen :P,.. oh it did, Laserdisc), anyways, what does that have to do with anything?
