Most of Dorset is fine. Freindly, nice country side and Borunemouth can be great, until night time hits and the gangs apear out of their ghettos. We have drugs and some of 'the poorest areas in the counrty' in sleepy old Dorset. But then Borunemouth and Christchurch were Hamshire until 1974 when Dorset toke them over so the figures of the 'real' Dorset and 'Wessex' are different. Over all it is a good place but don't be fooled about the tales of paddling by the sea and walking on the hills! Get in the wrong places and Dorset is as harsh as any other county in the Uk

I was born in salford then grew up in glasgow im quite sure dorset wouldnt shock me too much mate.

Dont doubt theres some rough areas its always the same in sleepy little towns like you say. Citys have problems but they also have police and cctv, used to go out with a couple of lassies from estates further out into the countryside and it's like they had no law aswell as the maniacs there.

thats life though evel mate and its short so no time to worry about the bad points all the time.
