hardcore or not hardcore what are everyones insperatinal tunes or artists etc. i would have to say that "bang 9" is a very insperatinal tune for me. also "let me be your fantasy"

i find that listenin 2 coldplay or sum1 else lyk that also gives insperation to me.

So many - where to start!

When I started playing around with proper trance stuff Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes was a huge inspiration

Samuel Barber's Adagio For Strings is a beautiful piece of music that is just filled with emotion when performed properly (ie by an Orchestra)

Smashing Pumpkins, Sepultura, Diana Krall, Belly, New Order, Prodigy, Simon & Garfunkel, most stuff by John Rutter especially Deep Peace and Gaelic Blessing (aka Deep Peas and The Garlic Dressing). Les Miserablé (Cameron Mackintosh).

Theres a whole host more, and I haven't even started on Hardcore! Within the scene itself theres so many people I take inspiration from.. Some for their skill on the decks. Some for their production and beat mangling skills. Some for their song-writing skills and some for their professional attitude (3 names spring to mind immedietely!). However, I'm not going to say who they are as they'll only get big headed and that'll never do! ;-)

I get inspirational with Ambient music, and some trance tunes... depends on what I writedown.
As a writer I use music to focus on emotions, Ambient is just great for that!

Haha... and the tunes that get me through rough days (and he's going it hate me for it) (but I'll say it anyway) ...
Those tunes are all combined on a mix of DJ Mortis, Acting normal is Crazy enough!
It's just class! It lifts my spirits everytime I listen to it.
Wish I could spin something like that together

I always thought Force & Styles - Fun Fair was quite inspirational.

Have you swam beneath the ocean, or surfed a tidal wave,
These are the dreams I'm dreaming, the fantasies I crave."

For me, it has to be Vangelis - Conquest Of Paradise. Well it's not strictly an inspirational piece, but rather one to psyche you up for something. They always play it just before kickoff at my hometown rugby league team
