This whole jaikl thing depends on eprsonality. Wile some people love the showers alot of people go inside and regret their loss of freedom and not being able to see friends and family. Some people don't mean to take criems so far (like chavs who get into a drunken fight) and end up banged up and it comes to a shock to them and they end up leaving a reformed person! We must also keep thugs off the streets to keep people safe. End of.

To the guy that says students are dickheads, remember that the next time you are in hospital, dying of cancer hopefully (sorry if I offend anyone with this but it reflects my true disgust at these ****s), it will be an ex-student treating you.
bah its a shame how you can have a good night then dick heads feel the need spoil it
like you said though ur gona be driving round it that 20k+ car when your older while they stood at the ***** bus stop, how did they know you were students though?

agree with that in many ways, its not right but to a lot of people is the only punishment that gets through.
Dont get many smackheads muggin old people or sellin drugs to kids when they no there kneecaps will be taken away.
Dunno about jail really cos never had to go myself, a lotta my mates have so i've heard second hand stories but i think its one of them things, need to go to have a real opinion on what its like.
All i no is some say it's like a holiday, normally cos they fitted right in and new loadsa people from the area, homes, bad boys schools and that. Other people dont fit in at all there too soft or dont no anyone, one boy i no got that badly bullied he had to put himself in solitary for rest of his sentence.
so aye people might think its too soft but i dunno, it definitely doesnt work in stopping most real criminals.

wtf are you on bout? that person bought the pizza for him no1 else so why the **** should he even offer it to any1. bein a student my self i find it hard to afford things so basically he was making the most of his money by not offering it around. and also why would you give a slice of your pizza to a random person?

Yeah some people suck. I think generally their way of thinking is why should students slack off work and not pay tax... The two things they seem to forget is many roles within the society (some of which are very important) require a higher level education and that most students work damn hard.
I disagree that you need a degree to do well in life, there is good jobs out there for people without but you will still need to be willing to put in a great deal of work being trained in some way or another. I've been to college and done various bits and pieces but I don't have a degree and I'm doing pretty well for myself.

People that walk around in large groups, looking for trouble usually have insecurities about something, or are just plain thick. You should of just turned around, ran at the biggest one there (or the leader) and smacked him in the jaw. The rest of them will be like "wtf.. this guys nuts.. hes just smacked the biggest one of us, better not try anything", they would probably run away after seeing that.
(dissagree with me if u like, but this is what i've seen in my experiences with "chavs" or groups of idiots if you like)

^^^ I've seen people beaten near to death after trying that it's not advisable. Not all gangs are insecure school children, if you value your life don't be a hero.
At the end of the day when your dealing with real nutters you have to ask yourself "is the pizza/phone/wallet worth risking my life for?"
