When people say they like Hardcore, then when asked what Hardcore they like, they say stupid shit like Dj Rankin is the bomb....or is it just me?

theres a fair few ppl round by me who listen to rankin and cammy and i keep tellin them to listen to some proper tunes and they are like "naaa rankin rules" and im like "wtf planet are you on!"

i aint getting any rankin threats here... BUT everyone thinks everything is trance! it pisses me off so badly!~ the fricken dork is listening to house and his like "fuhk rnb, imma listen to mah TRANCE!" -_________-'
i soooo fricken hate that song "listen to ur heart" -_____-' damn chavs taking me for a sicko!~ eeeeeewww!~ shiitycore!~ i also get the "whistle song" from dj alligator -_____-' yuck!~ no talent... just chavish mcing and crappy whistles...
the songs elysium, ur my angel, shooting star, pretty green eyes and many other songs have been chaved here...

What pisses me off is when people ask me what kind of music I write, and I say "hardcore", they ask me "hardcore trance?"
What.. the FUCK is hardcore trance? I've heard of Hard Trance, and I've heard of Hardcore, but this Hardcore Trance eludes me still.

People here call it techno, it doesn't matter what it is. :(

hmm, in reply to the innitial question, no, I like it, I find it funny, and I almost fine it funny/a bit pathetic that it annoys some of you.
It used to annoy me when I was younger at school and that, but now, I have found out that why would I want to 'educate' these people and show them what I (used to) love?! Because then it will just get more popular and sell out!
I like to leave people be thesedays. I don't like, care, at all. not one single bit.
Hell my old best mate loves rankin!! ^_^ As I said, I just laugh at her and she doesnt understand why :P She seriously likes it, AND loves other 'real' hardcore. So really there cannot be much difference to that, and what is now on bonkers!!!
